After body lotion and body sorbet, I tried my hands on the Body Puree by The Body Shop in the variant Polynesia Lotus and Frangipani Flower from the Spa Wisdom range. Read on to know how it fared for my normal skin and humid climate.

My Experience with The Body Shop Spa Wisdom Polynesia Lotus & Frangipani Flower Body Puree:
The packaging is simple plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The body is transparent so the quantity can be kept a check on. The details about the product is mentioned on the sticker attached to the body of the bottle. The pump dispenser can be locked to avoid spilling but owing to the 250ml size, it is difficult to carry it along in trips. The lock mechanism of the pump was a nice addition to the packaging. You might take some out in a travel jar for the weekend trips.
I have never been a fan of sticky oily lotions and hence each time I pick a new body lotion, the texture is the first thing I consider other than the fragrance. Since it is a body puree I had high expectations about how it feels on the skin. I have to admit this one has surprised me pleasantly with the ultra smooth consistency which spreads so well on the skin. The puree gets absorbed in no time and leaves the skin soft and hydrated.
The smell is unique and strong. It is both fruity and floral and there is a burst of fragrance on application but settles to a soothing smell in some time. If the initial smell lingered for long it would have been a botheration for me. Thankfully that issue is solved.
The body remains hydrated for more than 12 hours which is great and the fragrance lingers for around 2 hours. The product in whole is super impressive and a must have if you love using floral/fruity lotions all through the year. People with very dry skin might require something thicker for the upcoming winter.
