My Experience with Tom Ford Color Shine Ravenous 04
Ravenous is a gorrrgeous raspberrey pink lip color. It’s like the summer lip color perfection. Tom Ford Color Shine lipsticks are semi sheer super moisturising lipsticks. But Ravenous despite being a little on the sheer size gives a bang on color when applied. These lipsticks are sooo hydrating you kind of want to keep pressing your lips to feel that cushiony effect. π
They go on smoothly and do not settle in fine lines of the lips. The finish is soft glossy and the staying power is around 4 hours on me. The best part is that the color looks quite nice even after you have a full meal. It does not just disappear. It does not smudge or bleed.
The texture of these lipsticks is slightly thick (not sticky) and I think that’s what makes these lipsticks a bit long lasting.
The packaging is gorgeous. It’s sleeker than your regular Tom Ford lipsticks and I quite like that about these.
There’s a very lovely vanilla fragrance to these lipsticks. You almost want to keep sniffing it. I so love it …the fragrance that keeps reaching my nose every time I use this. It sounds so wrong but I can’t help putting it that way. π
Despite being the sheer lipsticks, I feel this is quite a pigmented lipsticks and the look and feel of these is stunning.
I would say that these are quite expensive lipsticks for what they are. I find the regular Tom Ford lipsticks more versatile. Not that I love this lipstick any less but this is more of a one time indulgence. If I have to I would always go and pick the regular Tom Ford lipsticks. IΒ find gravitating towards the regular formula a tad bit more when it comes to lipsticks. π
These lipsticks remind me a lot of Chanel Rouge Coco Shines. Rouge coco shines are thinnerΒ in texture.
But if you have to, by all means pick these lipsticks up. Pure gorgeousness. π

Juicy lippy…makes the lips juicy too
Hey Rati ,
Long time since I came to your blog , I just kept checking out your post on your FB page . Ok honestly thanks to you , I am more experimental with colors <3 π I generally used to be stuck onto only Pink and colorless gloss but well after seeing so much of amazing makeup I am loving this new me . Just wanted you to know π
This reminds me of the YSL Volupte shines which too have decent pigmentation despite being the “shine” variant. I love those and will definitely like to try at least one of these. Looks lovely on you. And i agree with the girls – your eye makeup is spot-on – its the highlight of the look rather than the lippy!! Whats the base/foundation you are using Rati?
