Make the most of 2015 because once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. Well, today I’m going to review a lip gloss by Victoria’s Secret.

Those Victoria’s Secret angels, who doesn’t like them? They are sexy, aren’t they? I know Victoria’s Secret is more known for its sexy range of lingerie, and mists of course, but know what? They have a cute cosmetic range as well, of which I’ll be reviewing a lip gloss. I’m more of a lipstick lover than glosses, but I do adore this sheer gloss. The sad part is that I don’t get VS products here in my city 🙁 , so whenever my relatives from US plans to visit India, I email them my shopping bag 😉 This particular gloss I have own for a long time now, since it’s occasionally that I use it and therefore the gloss wand refuses to get over 😀 Let’s see if this gloss is a hit or a miss.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Color Shine Lip Gloss in Enchanted:

As I said I’m not much of a lip gloss lover, but to round up my bill and for free shipping I decided to give this a try and added it to my cart. The packaging is cute and trendy unlike those other lip glosses that come in a normal glass wand. This one has stripes on it, which makes it look attractive. This range of gloss comes in around 12 shades. Isn’t that so cool? I picked up a nude shade so that I can wear it on lipsticks as well. There were shades that were pigmented just in case you like colored glosses. 🙂

The gloss has a vanilla flavored smell, which lasts for quiet long. You can smell a mild vanilla flavor even after an hour of wearing it. The gloss is sparkly, creamy semi-fluid stored in a long round shaped wand, with a silver cap attached and a tip applicator. The tip applicator is perfect to apply the gloss smoothly all through the lips and also to enhance the cupid bow. If you apply the gloss on bare lips you can see the sparkles clearly, whereas if you coat it on your lipstick, it’ll give your lipstick a creamy and shiny look. The shimmer crystals are very minimal and therefore, when you press your lips against each other, you would only feel the creamy effect and not the shimmer.

The gloss is perfect to wear for a friends hang out or to a café or a movie maybe. The gloss stays on for pretty long and therefore, you don’t have to carry it along with you with the fear of reapplying it every now and then. One application and you’re good to go. If I over coat it with multiple applications, the gloss forms a thick layer on my lips, which feel very chappy and creamy. Another turn off is that if you have pigmented lips due to frequent use of lip products, this shade will even more enhance those dark lips of yours and therefore you cannot wear this shade on bare lips.

• No need for multiple application, therefore using lesser quantity of the content.
• Gives a shimmery look to lips.
• Nicely designed tip applicator for easy application.
• Travel-friendly.
• Wide choice of shades to choose from.
• Can be worn either alone or over a lipstick.

Cons of Victoria’s secret Color Shine Lip Gloss in Enchanted:

• Not easily available.
• Multiple application forms a thick layer of gloss on lips.
• Since this shade is nude, it doesn’t suit naturally pigmented lips.
• Missing details about the product.
• No SPF.

Would I repurchase Victoria’s secret Color Shine Lip Gloss in Enchanted?

Since I’m not a great gloss lover, I would instead skip this product and invest the money in some lip stain. But I do recommend it to the girls who like to wear lip glosses.
