In this post, I am reviewing VLCC Ayurveda Almond, Aloe and Bhringraj Intense Nourishing Shampoo. Read on to know how it fared for me.

Ingredients:
Nimbu (Citrus limon) oil 100mg, Mandukaparni (Centella asiatica) extract 50mg, Aloe (Aloe barbadensis) extract 30mg, Bhringraj (Eclipta alba) extract 20mg, Almond (Prunus amygdalus) oil 20mg, Pudina (Mentha piperita) oil 20mg, Narikela (Cocos nucifera) oil 10 mg.

My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Almond, Aloe and Bhringraj Intense Nourishing Shampoo:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The shampoo comes in a small, transparent plastic bottle. This clear bottle helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. The bottle closes with a yellow colored flip top cap. The cap shuts very tightly and makes this bottle leak-proof and travel friendly. The bottle has a label at the back, which bears the product description, ingredients list and other necessary information about the product. Overall, the packaging is nice, sturdy and travel friendly.

The shampoo is a light, translucent, yellowish gel like liquid. It has a very refreshing herbal fragrance. The smell is nice but it is a little strong and may bother people with sensitive noses. It revives the senses and makes my hair smell good for quite some time. After that, the smell fades away gradually. The consistency of the shampoo is slightly on the runnier side.

The consistency is gel-like and the shampoo spreads easily but a good amount of the product is needed to cleanse oiled hair properly and to create a rich lather. The shampoo perfectly removes all the dirt and grime from my hair and scalp. It removes excess oil from my hair and scalp without snatching the moisture. Most of the herbal shampoos dries out my hair, but this product keeps my hair soft, smooth and tangle free.

It has amazing cleansing properties and gives a squeaky clean feel without drying out my hair. Though, it keeps hair manageable and shiny, but I still follow up with the conditioner to tame the frizz and make my hair more look more polished. I have dry and frizzy hair, but you may skip your conditioner if you want, as it is not really mandatory.

This shampoo is enriched with so many natural ingredients like bhringraj, aloe, almond and many more which works amazingly on hair. The mint in the shampoo gives a cooling sensation and relaxes the mood. The coconut oil and almond oil provides nourishment to the hair and prevents them from drying. Lemon extracts provide shine to the hair. These natural ingredients hydrate the scalp and prevent the hair & scalp from drying. The shampoo is free from harmful chemicals like parabens.
