I am kind of lazy when it comes to applying masks. Therefore, I prefer using sheet masks over regular face masks as they are easy to use and mess free. Last month, I had bought some sheet masks for me. Today, I am reviewing one of them. Read on further to know more about Collagen By Watsons Moisturizing and Brightening Facial Mask.
Price and Quantity:
65 PHP or 100 INR approximately for 1 sheet.
My Experience with Watsons Collagen Moisturising and Brightening Facial Mask:
The sheet mask comes in the signature dull gold packaging of this Collagen line by Watsons’s. The sheet mask packet bears the necessary details and usage instructions at its back. The packaging of the sheet mask is sleek and travel friendly.
The sheet mask is a regular cloth mask that is white in color. The cloth is soft and it is deeply infused in serum, but there is too much of serum in the packet that it drips all around while taking out and during application. It gets too much messy. Even after applying it on the face, the serum drips down to the neck making it all messy.
You can see in the image below that my entire palm is wet with this serum. The sheet mask has those regular cut outs for eyes, nose and lips. The mask is large enough to fit my face perfectly, but it might be too big for people with small face. The mask fits very nicely on the face and does not slip off even if I do my work or move around.
The mask has a strong floral fragrance, which is not very pleasing. I find this smell too strong and it bothers me a lot. The sheet mask is very easy to use. Just wash off your face and pat dry. Apply the mask on your face on properly cleansed face and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. No need to rinse off. Massage extra serum into the skin until fully absorbed, but the fact is that it is really difficult to fully absorb all the serum even after heavy massaging, as there is a lot of product. Therefore, it makes an oily sheath on the face.
I found that it is a great sheet mask for dry skin but for people like me who have combination or oily skin type, this mask will make the skin super oily. I had used this sheet mask thrice and every time, I use this product I get one or two pimples on my face.
The mask gives a nice cooling sensation to my face instantly upon applying. The mask claims to moisturize and brighten the skin. I used this mask according to the given instructions. It makes my skin moisturized, deeply nourished but super oily too. My skin looked soft and smooth. It actually made my skin look plump and bright after use. The mask deeply moisturizes my skin. Therefore, this mask totally fulfills what it claims, but the results are not long lasting. The effects last only one day.
