Hello everyone!
I love Weleda products and here is the review of one of their night creams. Their products are 100% organic and it’s a very old and established brand that I trust. I have dry skin and also some dry patches due to the usage of retinol. So, I need to nourish and moisturize my skin well all the time.
Price: $22 for 30 ml
Product Description:
A rich night cream that helps the skin during its natural regeneration phase at night, so that it can recover and regain its natural moisture balance.
Contains mild almond oil that softens and soothes, strengthening the skin’s own protective moisture barrier. Pure plant extracts from iris root, chamomile and calendula soothes skin and help it to retain its optimal moisture levels. Also contains softening shea butter and cocoa butter.
The skin becomes soft and balanced and is more able to withstand dehydration the following day.
Has a mild scent of natural essential oils.

My Experience with Weleda Iris Hydrating Night Cream:
The product comes in a cardboard packaging. All information is printed on the packaging. Inside the packaging, comes the tube, which is metallic, small and handy. It has a screw cap and the opening is big enough to discharge a good amount of product. The consistency of the product is creamy and quite thick. One can control the amount being discharged.
I need a small amount of the product for my face and neck. Since the product is stored in a metallic tube, the consistency of the cream depends on the temperature. When it’s cold, the cream feels thick and during warmer months the cream is quite oily. One needs to be careful while dispensing the product during warmer months.
The cream itself is cream in color and smells herbal even though it has chamomile and calendula. The fragrance is quite mild when compared to other Weleda creams. Just by smelling the cream, one can say it has a lot of essential oils and no artificial fragrance. The fragrance is not overpowering. It is mild and lasts a few minutes when applied.
The cream spreads all over the face easily and gets absorbed within minutes. I did not expect the product to get absorbed so easily since it has so many oils in it. My skin feels very moisturized. My skin also does not look or feel oily. I could see the glow on my skin after a few days of using it. The product did not cause any breakouts either.
My skin feels soft and smooth. As a matter of fact, my breakouts have considerably reduced. Since it’s all organic, I feel comfortable to use it and am not worried about any kind of side effects. The cream is targeted towards dry skin types and is a perfect choice for me. I would not suggest this cream for oily skin as the product is full of so many kinds of oils. It might lead to breakouts on oily and greasy skin.
On my dry skin, it works just perfect and I would recommend it to people suffering from dry skin. I feel the product gets used up quite quickly even when I use it sparingly. But I do not regret it as I get to buy new products and it also means that my skin is taking in the goodness. A 30 ml tube lasts 5 to 6 weeks even when used every night.
