Skin Tone: Medium Tanned
Today I am going to share my views about Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Quad in the shade Silent Treatment. Now let’s get into the details.
Our improved eyeshadow formula ups the ante on pigmentation with a mix of shimmery go-tos and matte transition shades to blend into the creases of your eyelids. Each shade glides on effortlessly and blends like a dream. We’ve taken out the guesswork by noting where to apply each hue.
My Experience with Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Quad Silent Treatment:
Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Quad comes in a very pretty black container with a clear lid. The palette does not come with an applicator or a mirror, which is a bit disappointing. But, at this price point, I can’t complain about anything. This palette is small, lightweight and travel-friendly. I also like that they have mentioned the shades and how to apply them. So, this quad is good for beginners to understand how they can easily create a look.
Shades and Pigmentation:
This palette offers four shades and I like the combination of these shades. It actually has three shimmery shadows and one matte shadow. I also like the fact that it contains a nice transition shade as well. This quad has a brown theme going on.
Now, let me describe each shade individually. These shades are nicely pigmented and require only a few swipes.
The topmost shade is a beautiful natural nude brown shade which is a pretty transition shade. But it will not show up on dark skin tones.
This is a light shimmery creamy white shade to highlight the brow bones.
Next, is a dark blackish-brown shade with bright shimmer particles. This is basically a shade to use on the crease and outer corners to define the eyes well.
This is a taupe brown shade for the eyelids. It also contains fine shimmer particles that add a nice glow.
Texture and Quality:
All the shades have a soft and smooth texture that blends effortlessly on the eyes. They never feel patchy but a few shades fly out a bit during application. Otherwise, all shadows get blended easily with a light hand application. I love the even finish the shadows deliver. The shadows have fine shimmer particles that never look overpowering. And, these shades mix and match well with each other. The product doesn’t crease on the eyes but the shadows fall out a bit and I have to clean them properly.
These shadows stay nicely on the eyes – without any creasing or mess. They stay in place and do not really create a mess. The shadows last around 5-6 hours but start to look a bit faded after that, thanks to my oily eyelids. A primer could make these last longer.
I can create a soft day look as well as a bold night look with this quad. The quality is good for the price too.
