Wet n Wild just released a couple of new products to their vast makeup range. Today, I will be reviewing their new “Mega Cushion Foundation” in the shade “Neutral Beige.” This foundation comes as a sister product to their popular “Photo Focus Foundation.” So, let’s see how this foundation fared for me.

It’s a match made in makeup heaven: Liquid foundation in a cushion compact. Tap the cushion to add just the right amount of coverage or double tap to add more. It’s perfectly portable too, with an air tight, no mess compact that makes applying liquid foundation a breeze. Infused with coconut derivative, the luminous, lightweight, and buildable formula helps boost hydration and contains SPF 15 for added skin protection.
How To Use:
Take a small amount of the product with the puff and gently stroke along skin texture; gently dab to improve the finish. Apply another layer for more coverage.

My Experience with Wet n Wild Mega Cushion Foundation SPF 15:

Packaging: Wet n Wild mega cushion foundation comes in a slim black plastic compact. The top of the compact has a cute girl graphic design. Inside the compact, there is a good-sized mirror. The compact houses a small black-coloured puff. The puff is dense, smooth and spongy; as in the puff doesn’t soak up too much of the product. I really like the puff because it gives me a smooth and even finish. Inside the compact, there is sponge cushion which holds the foundation. Overall, the packaging of the cushion foundation is beautiful, compact and travel friendly.

Shades: Wet n Wild cushion foundation comes in 8 shades. I purchased “Neutral Beige” which is a perfect shade for my light medium skin tone.

Texture and Quality: The cushion foundation has a liquid texture. The foundation blends smoothly on the face. The puff blends the product evenly on my skin to give a natural finish. The cushion has a satin texture. This foundation has coconut derivative which gives a nice and healthy glow to the skin. The foundation doesn’t look patchy or cakey on my skin. It has a good amount of moisture. I really love this lightweight, smooth formula. There is no white cast and the product has a nice faint fresh fragrance. It doesn’t clog my pores. It also has SPF 15 which protects my skin from the sun.

Coverage: This cushion provides medium coverage and you can build it up to get a full coverage. It hides my uneven skin tone and redness. My freckles also got covered pretty nicely. This cushion makes my skin look even and fresh. I can easily build up the coverage by layering it up. I do prefer natural coverage for everyday use, so this is a perfect product for me.

Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this cushion foundation. It stays on for around 6 to 7 hours. Due to the harsh winter weather, my oily skin has been enjoying this moisturising cushion foundation. It moisturizes my skin and gives it a nice natural finish. This cushion foundation is also the cheapest drugstore cushion foundation compared to Maybelline and L’Oréal. Overall, I am really enjoying this foundation.
