Yardley London April Violets Nourishing Hand Cream Review

Hello, everyone!

Today’s review is about Yardley London April Violets Nourishing Hand Cream. Whenever I see Yardley products, my childhood memories come rushing back to me. I remember the times when I would use Yardley London talc. I overused the powder so much that I had give it up. I never really looked into Yardley London’s other range of products for years. Recently I found this hand cream and it brought back the memories, hence I just could not resist it. So, here is the review.

Price: £4.49 for 100 ml
Product Description:
A light and easily absorbed hand cream that leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and delicately fragranced with the new Floral Classics April Violets fragrance.
A clean fresh, green and sensual floral fragrance with top notes of violet leaves and citrus fruits combined with a gorgeous heart of orris, mimosa, rose and white peach, enhanced with sandalwood, vanilla and powdery notes in the base.

Ingredients:
Containing moisturizing shea butter and natural oils to help fight against ageing.
Contains 95% naturally derived ingredients.
Paraben Free.

My Experience with Yardley London April Violets Nourishing Hand Cream:

The hand cream comes in a white soft plastic tube and a flap lid. The color of the lid is violet. There are some flowers printed on the packaging and they are also violet. I love this color and I feel it’s very catchy.

The packaging is medium sized and fits very well into the handbag. The hand cream itself is white in color. The consistency of the cream is light and it spreads very well all over the palms. The fragrance is the most prominent part of the whole product.

One can smell the powdery vanilla notes instantly and the fragrance is pretty strong. If you do not prefer strong fragrances, I would ask you to stay away from this hand cream. The fragrance feels fresh and floral. I can totally see myself using it, especially during the spring season.

The fragrance also lasts for an hour or so. The cream does not leave the hands oily when applied and it gets absorbed pretty easily by the skin. This is a very crucial factor for me in hand creams. My hands now feel very soft and smooth after a few days of continuous usage.

I feel the price is a little on the higher side for a hand cream but it’s worth the money. The product claims to contain shea butter and natural oils, which are good for the skin. Also, 95% of the ingredients are natural and the cream is also free of parabens.
