Chemical peels are getting quite popular these days. I am a big fan of stuff from “Yes to” brand and I have been using their products for quite some years now. Recently, I picked a brightening peel from the Yes To Grapefruit range which is a chemical peel. Read on further for detailed review:

My Experience with Yes to Grapefruit Pore Perfection Brightening Peel:
This yes to grapefruit peel comes in the cutest-looking packaging of candy pink jar with a white cap. I fell in love with the packaging the moment I saw it. The entire grapefruit range comes in pink so that it can be easily differentiated from the other ranges. It is a small jar hence travel friendly. The only part that a lot of people would not like is dipping in fingers because it’s so unhygienic. The price is also fine since it is a chemical peel which is not easily available in the market.
The peel comes in a light yellow colour and the consistency is like a runny gel. It is super smooth and glides like a dream on my skin. On initial application, I feel a warm sensation on my skin which is common to all peels. Later, there is a little tingling sensation throughout the 10 minutes the mask is on my face. It does not irritate my skin but tingles a bit. The best part about this product is its incredible smell. It smells extremely citrusy, exactly like grapefruit juice. I love the smell because it instantly refreshes me up.
I make sure that I keep it only for 10 minutes since it is a chemical peel. It is very easy to rinse off from the skin. After washing, I have to make sure I apply a moisturizer since it has Vitamin C content that can irritate skin. My skin looks very fresh and bright after every use and I feel that it has taken away the dull layer of my skin. As far as the pores are concerned, I can immediately see my facial pores looking smaller but it’s not a permanent solution. I can see them reduced in size just a bit, not much.
This mask makes my skin bright and even toned with regular use. Also, the dark spots have faded to a good extent. The product worked really well for me but it will not work like the chemical peel treatments at the salon which show instant results.

It is a nice facial peel to have if you have huge pores. I wouldn’t buy it again as I will want to try the night treatment from the same range. I wish “yes to” also comes to India with affordable prices!
