No 9 Caress Pink is a super pigmented bright pink color. Just a swipe of color is all you need to get a full pop of color on your lips. Suprizingly, the staying power of this lipstick is more than 3 hours. This could be because the shade is so bright and pigmented. The Spicy Rose Color that I have barely lasts for 2 hours and does not leave any hint of color behind. This fades to a light pink color and i can see a stain of color even after 3 hours. The texture is buttery smooth, it just glides on your lips. 😛 I also did not find it drying after it rubs off. I don’t know. May be the formula for n*de color and the bright colors is different but this definitely does not dry out my lips.
The color is such that gives that fresh glow to your face but still the shade is not for everyone. I really don’t want to define a skin tone here because really, if you can pull off brighter colors you would be able to rock this shade. All I’d say is that if you are not comfortable wearing hot fuchsia colors , this is a great pick. It is not over the top pink but bright enough to make a statement.
I have always worn this with a cool toned blush and soft eyes and I guess I’d stick to that. I tried wearing it with dark eye makeup but I did not enjoy that look personally.
The finish is creamy – not too glossy , not matte.
All I can say is that you HAVE to try YSL rouge Volupte Lipsticks. You just have to feel that texture, that luxury and that beautiful packaging. YSL Makeup is available at Shopper’s Stop. You may gift these pretties to yourself this Christmas or New Year. 🙂

I bought my first pair of Jimmy Choos. 😀 These are called Binnis. (From website : This sheer and graphic pump in a chic mix of blonde leopard print pony, smoke plexi and black patent leather is not to be missed.) The ones I picked up are 3 1/2 inch heel. But the same shoes are available in smaller and higher heels too at the store. You can purchase them online HERE or in Delhi we have a Jimmy Choo store in DLF Emporio. I am super happy to own these.:yahoo: I’d be wearing these with lots of other looks as well. The prices are exactly the same all over the world so it does not make a difference whether you purchase them online (HERE) or at the store. Online ,you’d probably have to pay for the shipping.
