My Experience with Balea Coconut and Shea Nut Body Lotion:

The packaging is typical to Balea body lotion. It comes in a tall plastic container with a flap lid. The overall color is blue with white. It gives more of an ocean feel. The packaging reminds me of vacation in a warm beach destination. The packaging holds 400ml of product, which is quite a bit. This quantity makes it not so suitable for shorter vacations unless you have a big family and everyone uses the same body lotion. It takes a little extra space than smaller lotions, especially when you’re travelling with just a small bag. The lotion can be easily squeezed out of the bottle with hardly any effort. So, the packaging can easily be handled by every age group.

The consistency is not very thick but thick enough for a body lotion. It’s the right consistency for me. I hate it when body lotions are watery. The lotion spreads easily on the skin. It’s not cloudy, making it easy to apply. It does not feel sticky or oily on the skin after application. The cream looks pure white in colour and reminds me of the tender coconut flesh. The fragrance screams of coconut! If you hate or do not prefer the coconut fragrance, I would suggest you stay away from this product.

The sweet fragrance lingers on the skin for a few hours and then fades away eventually. The feel on the skin is pleasant and it does not leave any kind of irritation. The skin feels soft and well moisturised. I have used it during my phases of dry skin days, especially during colder months. I appreciate the point that it’s very inexpensive and that the performance is quite satisfying. I am pretty satisfied with the cost and the performance.
