A majority of girls/women suffer from split ends. While regular trimming does help in getting rid of them temporarily, the only permanent way to stop them show up prominently on your hair is by eating a healthy diet and hair-friendly supplements such as iron, zinc, selenium, folic acid, etc. As earlier mentioned, snipping off a few inches every month does give you split-ends free hair, but not many of us would like to lose the length because it’s really hard to grow them out. Though some shampoos and serums do claim to repair split ends, I do not believe such products actually work. Once your hair strand has split, it’s near to impossible to seal them in again. For those like me, who shudder to think of losing some inches in the trimming process, here are some hairstyles that would let you hide the splits and that too in a trendy way. Take a look:
1. High Bun: Look chic with this hairstyle, it will cover your split ends and you can sport this hairstyle with casual as well as formal looks.
2. Waterfall French Braid: This will look good on curly to wavy hair. Since your ends will be in medium loose curls, your split ends would not be visible. Not to mention, it’s an awesome hairstyle.
3. Bridal Chignon Hairstyle: You would need quite a few bobby pins to to roll the hair up outwards in an updo that will conceal your split ends and will look great with summery floral print dresses.
4. Double Roll and Tuck Hairstyle: I heart this hairstyle. You would have to partition your hair into two sections and then roll them and tuck them up separately. It’s an awesome hairstyle to make a fashion statement and it will hide the splits!
5. Twist Up Hairstyle: Look how cleverly you can hide all the splits with this twist-up hairstyle.
6. Inward Curls: Try inward curling your hair during blow drying so that the splits get hidden in the curls.
7. Messy Side Braid: This is a hairstyle to sport if you are having a bad hair day. The messiness would conceal all kinds of hair issues including split ends. It’s my favorite!
