The shade that I am reviewing today from the Covergirl Outlast Longwear lipstick is called “Pink Shock.” I have already reviewed the shades “Magnetic Mauve”,“Into the Fuchsia”, “Red Revenge” and “Fireball” from this range. Read on to find out more about this lipstick.

My Experience with Covergirl Pink Shock Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a reflective metallic packaging with a transparent cap. The name of the lipstick appears on a sticker on the side of the cap. The packaging looks a bit flimsy for the $9 that you pay for it. Also, the lipstick does not swivel all the way down inside the tube and some part remains exposed and there is always the danger of nicking some part of the lipstick while trying to put the cap on.
Shade/Pigmentation: Pink Shock is very lovely pink shade. It is not a shocking pink as the name might suggest. It has slightly warm undertones which makes it a wearable shade for Indian skin tones. The pigmentation is decent, but I prefer 2 swipes for a more finished look. However, multiple layers leads to a slight clumping of the lipstick. This shade does not contain any shimmer as some of the other shades from this range.
Texture/Finish: The texture of this lipstick feels like a hybrid between crème and gel. It applies smoothly on the lips and there is no tug at all. The formula feels quite soft and comfortable on the lips. The finish is satiny and looks really lovely.
The lipstick does not accentuate my lip lines, but I would recommend exfoliating the lips prior to application to avoid highlighting any dry patches. The lipstick does not feel drying on the lips but it does not feel overly moisturizing either.
Lasting Power: The lasting power of this shade is good and it lasts for around 5 hours with some snacking/light meals. It does transfer but not too much. It leaves behind a pinkish stain as it fades.
Pros of Covergirl Pink Shock Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick:
- Lovely shade of pink.
- Beautiful satiny finish.
- Applies smoothly on the lips.
- Does not feel drying on the lips.
- Decent lasting power.
Cons of Covergirl Pink Shock Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick:
- Lipstick does not swivel down completely.
- Slightly flimsy packaging.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Pink Shock Outlast Longwear + Moisture Lipstick?
I noticed that different shades from this range behave differently. I would recommend this particular shade as everything from the shade to the formula to the lasting power is good. I will not repurchase the exact same shade but I already have other shades from this range.
