My Experience with Guerlain Cils d’Enfer So Volume Mascara
I have used Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara before, which pretty much looks the same packaging wise. I was not very impressed with that one so I was not sure what to expect out of this So Volume version.This is one of the BEST mascara I have ever used. I sort of not want to write the review and just ask you to take a look at my lashes photos. 😛

• It is a deep dark black mascara. It is totally up my alley.
• Although it is a volumizing mascara, it adds both length and volume to the lashes and take them to a ‘wow’ level.
• It does not clump with 1-2 coats but if you are someone like me who like to pile on here mascaras, you might find it to be a bit clumping. Depends on how you want to use the mascara. You can make it look natural on your lashes with just one coat or you could build it up and totally create that oomph factor.
• It comes in a gorgeous black and gold tube.
• The brush is neither too thick nor too thin. The brush gets thinner on the inside which helps to catch hold of the lashes on the inner corner of the eyes. It is a plastic brush with very fine shirt bristles. It helps in coating every single lash and gives a nice separated look to the lashes.
• The formula is creamy and goes on beautifully and easily.
• It holds the curve very well.
• It does not clump or smear.
• It does not make your lashes crunchy.
• It does not feather. I have been wearing it very regularly from past 2 months and I only notice a bit of feathering when I have worn it may be more than 8-9 hours. I am being very picky here for the sake of review but honestly it is more pro than a con for me that the mascara holds so well for such long hours.
• The only con I’d mention is that it is a perfumed formula. Although it has never caused any irritation to the eyes ever. Still I really do not want perfume in my eye makeup products. I find it unnecessary.
• I also find it difficult to remove sometimes. I have to go through my lashes 2-3 times with a makeup remover to get rid of it completely.
