  1. AWesomeeeeeeeeeeee list Sahar…thank you so much for sharing it here…I am bookmarking it straight away!!!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

  2. Good morning Sahar…nice article..but i have not seen any of the listed shampoo in INDIA :(( ..are they available here???

  3. great Sahar……thanks for this list….others are welcome to add their bit to the list and we will keep updating this….:)

  4. nice article and thanks for sharing
But availability is an issue…also after you last 2 articles, i searched internet and went to diff (dollar store/big bazaar etc) stores for these shampoos/conditioners but not got them as they said that due to less demand not ordering it further. So i ended up ordering online VLCC protein shampoo and Enliven Conditioner as i read on IMBB comments itself that even Enliven Shampoo contains Silicon :scream: :scream: :scream:

All of you there, also suggest some online stores from where we can buy these products :struggle: :struggle: :struggle:

        1. i asked jomol… all saying they don’t have :(( :(( .One Pharmacist even said “madam are u sure about the name?? i have never heard such a product before”. 😥 I am planning to get it couriered post confirming its non-availability..

    1. You are right Raji..
A lot of names missing from the list!!! Most common being TBS rainforest range and Organix or OGX!!

  5. I have gone through a review of Biotique Bio Green Apple Fresh Daily Purifying Shampoo & Conditioner in this link: https://makeupandbeauty.com/biotique-bio-green-apple-fresh-daily-purifying-shampoo-conditioner/ , and according to the ingredient-list, I haven’t found any such chemicals in it. :specs:

Still, please make me know if ‘Biotique Bio Green Apple Fresh Daily Purifying Shampoo & Conditioner’ is Sulfate and Silicone-free. I think that in India, this product is quite easily available. Moreover, its cost is too good. :yahoo:

Thanks in advance. Stay safe and healthy.

    1. if you have any salons near you or sally beauty supply you should go and ask them because they have some there. Asta Berry for examply is stationed in Dehli and sell only organics

    Kyu bhai? :scream: :scream:
India mein saare jaanvar rehte hai kya? Why dont Indians deserve any organic, silicone-sulphate less products? Are any of our Phamous toileteries Mfg companies even listening? :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank:
is it so difficult to manufacture chemical-less stuff without making it so obviously expensive?? Even Baba Ramdev’s Kesh Kanti has SLES in it. had ho gayi! :stars:

    -Garnire UltraDoux-Naturals (Not Frutics one)
    – L’OCCITANE
    -VO5 (available at 99 stores)
    -Suave (available at 99 stores)

    -Giovanni

More comments Awaited as my search is still on.

      1. AArti..

        1. sorry for late reply 🙂

like dollar stores we have 99 stores (kind of super market) in Delhi NCR and i hope in major cities of India and they stock all the products at pocket friendly prices and we got international brands toiletries as well
U can chk their website http://www.store99.co.in/

    1. I have Suave Naturals Tropical coconut. It has sulphates but not silicone. It does not take off the oil completely, so I use it when I dont oil my hair. Its lot less harsh than Dove for me.

  9. thnx for sharing these valuable information Sahar…I have now switched to TBS Rainforest Range 🙂
Thts too free of silicones, sulphates and parabens…. :teddy: :teddy:

  10. After doing Ph.D over ‘Google..The Great’ I have found ‘eh cosmetics’ & few other brands which are available here & are chemical free.. :happydance:

Thanx Sahar for opening our chemically closed eyes.. :stars:

  11. Himalaya has come out with a new range of shampoos which are SLS, paraben and silcone free. 🙂 Available in all their regular variants. However its not available in all shops yet. Also I dont see their conditioners in this new range. Waiting eagerly for the conditioners as well since frankly TBS is costly! Matrix conditioners are silicone free. You even get a variant which is paraben free, however their shampoos have all 3. 🙁
Also are you sure that TBS Grapeseed Glossing serum is silicone free? When I checked the bottle, the first ingredient mentioned is cyclopentasiloxane which is nothing but silicone based oil! 😐

  12. I’m loosing my hair….bfr 11 months i had my hair rebonded(INDIA)….nd i got massive hairfall….so with that i stopped using hair spa nd stopped conditioners too applying to my hair and till now am just using “lorial professionnel paris liss ultime oil incell shampoo”…..infact with that also am suffering with hairfall nd alot with dryness…..guess my hair got damaged with that rebonding….soo can anyone help me out, which one is the best shampoo and conditioner(should me MILD AND SLS FREE) should i use for dry, damaged nd for hairfall..???.my hair got very thin….Help me please…..

  13. Ok. Here my take on this article. 90% of these products have limited availability in India.
Burt’s Bees is available in Sephora.. However it’s exorbitant price makes is prohibitive to buy!!
    Same goes for Kiehls!! *nababana*

The most easily available ‘nasties free’ range is TBS Rainforest. available in almost all the major cities.. Besides, if you can splurge.. You can opt for either Forest Essential or l’Occitane .. Try biotique, nirwana (Indian brand available online) or try a baby shampoo!!! I am not sure is Khadi and FabIndia products are free if Sulphates..

The best silicone, sulphate and parabens free hair products which I have used till date are from Organix (I think it’s called OGX now) 100 times better than TBS Rainforst, these are good products, which are value for money and easily available online.. 😀
