L’Occitane Aromachologie Radiance & Colour Care Conditioner
By Monika Madhwal
Hey pretty ladies,
How was your Diwali? Mine was great though Dehradun weather did try to play spoilsport! Coming back to IMBB, this is my first review 😀
Okay, so L’occitane had this pre-Diwali exclusive online sale going on. There were few products in the sale catalog that I really like but never repurchased because of the price. And so I wanted to buy so many things. Diwali par diwala! But then I got a hold over my temptations and picked the Radiance and Colour Care Conditioner as I wanted to buy this particular L’occitane conditioner from a loooong time. Let’s see how this fared.
Price:
Rs. 1595
On sale:
Rs. 1113
Qt: 250 ml
About the product:
This conditioner gently detangles as it helps preserve the brilliance of color-treated hair without weighing it down. Its formula combines 5 protective essential oils (geranium, rosemary, cedar, palmarosa and bergamot) with a grape seed extract to help prevent color from fading while preserving its radiance. The creamy texture helps to smooth and coat the hair fiber, leaving hair silky and easy to detangle.
Proven results (as mentioned on pack)
– Hair is shiny (92%)
– Hair is nourished (92%)
– Hair is easy to manage (96%)
– Colour is preserved (96%)
Radiance & Colour care cocktail of 5 essential oils: Geranium, Rosemary, Cedar, Palmarosa, Bergamot: Helps to protect hair fiber
Grape seeds extract: Rich in antioxidants, protects the hair from external aggressions
My Experience with L’Occitane Aromachologie Radiance & Colour Care Conditioner:
To begin with, I have long, wavy hair with really dry tips. I have used the L’occitane conditioner(the repairing one)in the past, and I really loved it, but past few months were really humid and I thought about changing the shampoo and conditioner. I switched to The Body Shop (TBS) Anti-dandruff shampoo and Forest Essentials (FE) Indian Rose conditioner. The TBS shampoo really dried out my already dry hair and the FE conditioner did not help in any way. I do not color my hair but I still wanted to try this as my hair appeared so lacklustre and my past experience with L’occitane has been really good. This off-white pearly conditioner comes in a fliptop tube. The texture is really smooth and it spreads on wet hair quite easily. The fragrance is so refreshing, very tangy. I love it.
What I really like is that a little quantity is required, compared with other conditioners I have used so far, considering that I have really long hair. While rinsing too, it doesn’t give much pain. Hair are instantly detangled, another plus for my hair. I dry my hair naturally, and I noticed that frizz was not completely gone but reduced to an extent. With the FE conditioner, I had to use a hair serum. But with this, I don’t have to. My hair are smooth, and tangle free. There are other things too that play a role in how your skin or hair looks and a single product can’t do miracles alone. But the overall condition of my hair has definitely improved. I can see that. It’s mentioned on the pack that this particular range has UV filters. That’s an added bonus for winters, as we usually take care of our skin with sunscreens but hair get roasted! This product fulfills all the claims made, but I can’t really say about color preservation.
Pros of L’Occitane Aromachologie Radiance & Colour Care Conditioner:
1. Little required, so the product will last long.
2. Fulfills the claims of making hair more manageable and shinier.
3. Has the goodness of 5 essential oils.
4. Has UV filters for extra protection.
Cons of L’Occitane Aromachologie Radiance & Colour Care Conditioner:
1. The price! Can’t wait for sale for ever.
2. Availability might be an issue for some.
Would I repurchase L’Occitane Aromachologie Radiance & Colour Care Conditioner?
Yes, if on sale! Otherwise I’ll go back to my L’occitane repairing one.
