This will be a review of the Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne Ultra Moisturizing Hand and Body Cream.

A splash of flirtation with wild strawberries, sparkling champagne.  Experience the luxury of fragrant hydration.  This intensive formula is fortified with replenishing avocado and sweet almond oils, plus hydrating honey.  Massage on for rich, 24-hour moisture, focusing on dry, rough areas. Skin feels soft, smooth and touchable; it is the ultimate sexy sensation, belongs to the Victoria’s secret garden collection.

Price:

INR 900 for 200 ml.

Ingredients:

It has the goodness of almond oil, avocados, aloe vera, vitamin E, but it contains parabens and mineral oil.

My Experience with Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne Body Cream:

I have been using the Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne Hand and Body Cream for two weeks now.  Since I have dry-combination skin in winters, I really need that extra dose of moisturization and if the moisturizer has a good fragrance, then it’s a win – win situation 😀

To begin with, this cream has a soft and buttery consistency.  It simply melts into the skin, without being greasy at all. A little goes a long way and you realize that this body cream is exactly what it claims; its a rich indulgent cream which leaves the skin really soft. There is no need for frequent reapplication. I was skeptical initially, as strawberry fragrances generally tend to be too sweet for my liking, but I was pleasantly surprised! The champagne factor just totally mellows it down, so you don’t end up smelling like fruit jam! The fragrance is not too strong or alcohol like.  It’s a simple, nice clean scent which lingers for the entire day. The packaging is sturdy and since it comes in a tube form, it is very convenient to use and is hygienic.

Overall, I absolutely love this product!!!It gives my skin a wonderfully pampered feeling and the subtle scent just cocoons me in comfort (sigh!!)

It’s an out and out  luxury throughout the day feeling.

Pros of Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne Body Cream:

• Lovely scent with long staying power.
• Not greasy and still very moisturizing.
• Contains almond and avocado oils which are great for skin.
• Sturdy tube packaging which is hygienic and convenient to carry.
• Not tested on animals.

Cons of Victoria’s Secret Strawberries and Champagne Body Cream:

• Contains parabens and mineral oil.
• Availability might be an issue.
• Pricey (but totally worth it, so it doesn’t count :p )

I am in two minds about it, I really love the product, but would want to try out other fragrances from the line as well, actually the vanilla lace one is already on my wish list 😉
