My Experience with Dove Silky Nourishment Body Cream:
This is the most amazing product I have come across yet. Dove has done everything right with regards to this cream. I am simply in love with this product. This body cream is so lightweight and has a consistency like a whipped cream. It gets absorbed instantly and deeply in the skin and there is absolutely no greasiness. It feels like it is water based so it has excellent moisturizing qualities and skin feels absolutely pampered after using this. You can use this after shower and skin remains hydrated all day. It also has some light reflective particles so it even gives the skin a subtle glow.
The cream comes in a big tub like container which is not very travel friendly but you can always transfer it to a smaller travel-sized bottle. The tub container may seem unhygienic to some especially if it is being used by other people too, but if you are the only one to use it, I would look at this packaging as a plus as you get to use every last bit of cream and save the hassle of squeezing out from tubes or pumps. A decent amount of quantity comes in a single tub. So, you can slather away day and night to your heart’s content without feeling guilty. A single tub will probably last me quite a few months.
This cream has a very neutral mild clean fragrance. Even suitable for those with sensitive noses. The fragrance becomes very faint after some time, so it will never clash with scents of your perfumes. This cream will be suitable for all skin types from oily to extra dry too. Can be used even in summer and in winter. I can’t rave enough about this product. Definitely recommend this. Go try this out for yourself and see what I mean.
Pros of Dove Silky Nourishment Body Cream:
- Perfect texture and consistency.
- Gets absorbed instantly.
- Moisturizes deeply.
- Feels like those expensive luxury creams even though it is very affordable.
- Mild clean scent.
- Non greasy.
- Tub can be reused after finishing the cream.
Cons of Dove Silky Nourishment Body Cream:
- None for me but some may find the tub packaging unhygienic.

I used this body cream years ago…but it ruins the skin after sometime as I noticed *ghost* *grrr* it started to darken *scared* *scared* *scared* (it was not tan) then I realized this was the culprit and never got it again *chudail* …I agree with you regarding the smell, texture and non greasiness as positive *haan ji* and quite co-incidentally I was living in Chennai at that time and this came as a blessing in the humid & hot weather…but honestly it did more harm in the long run. *smack*
moderation plz *waiting*
