Wella SP Hydrate Finish Finishing Care Review

Hello everyone,

I have been wanting to try this brand SP since a long time, but as it is a salon-exclusive product, it is slightly difficult to get hold of. On my recent visit to Toni and Guy, I managed to pick this up and after using it for a while, here is my review on the same.

Wella SP Hydrate Finish Finishing Care

Price:
Rs. 895/- for 125 ml.

Ingredients Wella shampoo

My Experience with Wella SP Hydrate Finish Finishing Care:

The packaging is effective, attractive and simple at the same time. All details about the product are mentioned on the body itself. The bottle is made of sturdy white plastic with pearly finish with a fitted violet top which makes it travel friendly. The spray nozzle dispenses the right amount of product and can be controlled. I have sprayed the lotion on my palm and spread on damp hair, works just as fine.

There is a lovely salon-like smell to the lotion which lingers on for a while before disappearing. I would have loved it if the fragrance stayed on for some more time. The texture is water like and transparent in nature. Spreads beautifully on damp hair, but on dry hair; it might weigh down the hair.

Wella SP Hydrate Care

If you are looking for something that would tame the frizzy manes, this is not the best bet. It definitely smoothens the hair and makes the hair soft to touch. Just because there is no claim of taming frizz, I cannot complain really, but well, who doesn’t like added benefits? The claims of softening the hair is bang-on correct and kudos to that.

The smooth effect stays for 2 days minimum, if not exposed to pollution or heat. I quite like this quick fix for soft moisturized hair. As I do not use much hot tools, so will not comment on the heat protection part, but overall, this is a good lotion for soft manageable hair, again, this will NOT help on controlling frizz.

  1. This is not for me Rashmita as frizz control is all I am looking for these days. It’s so humid that my already very voluminous hair tend to look huge! 🙁

  2. I have a hair care regime which has managed my frizzy hair well so, I won’t be changing it anytime soon plus, since this one doesn’t control frizzy hair, I would not purchase this one :/
