Here, I had bought up some effective home remedies to the rescue. I always love to make a way out of the breakouts from these remedies.

1. Tea Tree Oil:
Tea tree is an essential oil which is used as one of the main key ingredients in the acne care product range. It is best known for its skin ailment properties.
How to use: You can use tree oil either by mixing it with few drops of water or as a face pack. Apply this over the affected areas. Always remember that essential oils should never be applied directly to the skin, so use them either with water, moisturiser or face packs.
Honey is best known for its antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps the skin to heal faster and lightens acne scars. Honey works well inside your skin as it does to your outer part. Consuming honey detoxifies your body and cleanses the blood preventing skin from further damage.
How to use: Mix honey with cinnamon or turmeric or tea tree oil. Apply it on the affected areas.
3. Apple Cider Vinegar:
Apple cider vinegar contains lactic acid and malic acid that can treat acne and reduces redness.
How to use: Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. Dab a cotton ball in it and apply over the affected areas. Never use concentrated apple cider vinegar directly on your skin because it will dry up the skin causing more breakouts.
Lemon acts as a bleaching agent and exfoliator. It is housed with anti-bacterial properties. It also reduces the possibility of pimple formations.
How to use: Dab a cotton ball in lemon juice and apply over the affected areas. Wash it off with cool water.
Basil is known for its powerful anti-bacterial properties which help in getting rid of the acne causing bacteria.
How to use: Make a paste of basil leaves. Apply the paste directly on the acne or mix it with besan flour. This will make your skin blemish free too.
6. Green Tea:
Green tea has anti-microbial and anti-oxidant compounds that fight acne. Antioxidants present in the green tea fights the free radicals that harm your skin.
How to use: Consuming green tea will be the best way to do so. Otherwise, you can make a cup of green tea and wash you face with it twice a day or put the green tea bag over affected areas.
7. Witch hazel:
Witch hazel acts as an astringent. It can dry up your acne and reduce blemishes. One of the ingredients used in anti-acne creams.
How to use: Just pour witch hazel on a cotton ball and apply on your skin.
8. Orange Peel:
Orange peel is rich in various vitamins, minerals and fibres. It contains high levels of Vitamin C which help to combat acne problems.
How to use: Grind the orange peel to make a paste. Apply the paste directly over affected areas.
Mint leaves are used as medicinal herbs because of their anti-bacterial and cooling properties. It helps in drying up the acne and clean up the pores.
How to use: Make a paste from mint leaves. Apply the paste directly over acne or mix the paste with besan flour. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes and then wash off.
The salicylic acid present in aspirin is a go-to remedy for acne. It can dry up pimples and reduce inflammation.
How to use: Dissolve 3-4 pills in water to make a paste and apply over your pimples.
Things to remember: Overdoing any of these remedies to fight acne can cause your skin to dry up which will increase the oil production causing more breakouts. So always be careful and never overdo.
