So winters are here and with winters come the bandwagon of parties! It’s amazing since we don’t get sweaty, getting blingy is easier and our makeup has a lot of bold colors. So as the Christmas, New Year, wedding season, get together and picnic parties draw nearer, here I am with some winter dress staples for all body types you need in your wardrobe. A few dress styles can effortlessly help you to glam up or down, and keep reading to know which ones you must own!
1. Turtleneck Sweater Dress
It’s warm, comfy and chic. It keeps cold at bay and speaks volumes about your fashion sense. Add boots or heels and a sling/fringe bag to make heads turn.
2. Cape Dress
Channel the superwoman in you with a cool cape dress. A pendant necklace, clutch and lace up heels or ankle boots and you are set to rule any party.
3. Cinched at The Waist
These dresses ooze feminine charm and go well with different types of accessories. Think embellished bellies and oversized bags to have a great picnic day.
4. Blazer or Coat Styled Dress
Think bold and beautiful, in pristine white and darling black. Pair with stilettos or pumps and watch the world envy you.
5. Sheath Dress
It’s a must-have for every season, what say? With sneakers and slings, it’s a great choice for a day out. At night, snap your shoes for some daring heels.
6. A Midi Dress
For the days you want laidback style, wear your midi dress, maybe with a turtleneck inside and your oxfords or boots? Who says relaxed can’t be the talk of the town?
7. A-Line Dress
Come rain, hail, shine, I will love my A-line. Forgiving on all figures, it can be paired with wedges, pumps, jackets, cropped jackets and so many things. Take your pick!
8. A Shirt Dress
For being hot and cool at the same time, these dresses are beyond comparison. Try with edgy booties for adding the grunge factor or some ankle strap heels to up the hotness quotient. Pair with metallic hand cuff or cocktail rings if your dress is in solid colors like midnight blue. See eyes transfixed on you.
I have already added quite a few to my winter wardrobe. Hope you find these suggestions useful too!
Take care lovelies.
