VLCC has recently launched four new facial kits in their ‘Ayurveda’. Here is the review of VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing Brightening Facial Kit – Haldi and Tulsi.

My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Facial Kit Haldi and Tulsi:
Packaging:
The facial kit comes in a yellow colored paper box with all the information printed over it. It is a small box and there are five small tubes inside the box, which are nicely placed on a plastic tray. I prefer such tube packaging for they are hygienic and travel-friendly. Each tube contains 10 g of product, so I can use each tube twice. Overall, I am impressed with the packaging. Also, the kit is pretty affordable.
Fragrance:
This kit smells like tulsi or holy basil, since this is the Haldi and Tulsi variant. It has a very soothing fragrance. I think everyone will like this fragrance as it is quite refreshing. I personally love such ayurvedic scents.
Step 1:
Face Wash – It is a nice gel face wash that glides well and removes dirt and excess oil from the face. It works perfectly to make skin clear and bright, and it cleans pores deeply, making the skin oil-free. This is basically their VLCC Ayurveda Deep Pore Cleansing and Brightening Haldi and Tulsi Facewash.
Step 2:
Face Scrub – This scrub has a smooth, gel-like texture. It has yellow, green and white scrubbing particles. It blends smoothly and is a gentle scrub for sensitive skin. It makes skin smoother and clearer while removing its dull texture. It removes dead skin cells well and works just slightly on blackheads.
Step 3:
Face Gel – This is a nice lightweight soothing gel that glides easily on the skin and gets nicely absorbed, too. The formula makes the skin fresh, soft and smooth. It adds a cooling effect to the skin as well. It also makes skin tight and oil-free. Please note, you don’t have to rinse this gel off.
Step 4:
Face Cream – The massage cream has a medium creamy consistency and feels light on the skin. It glides well but dries out a little during massage. This problem can be solved by using rose water along with this cream. I massage the cream for around 15 minutes and then wipe it off. The cream gives a soft, supple and smooth skin and improves the texture too. It never feels oily or greasy but provides a good amount of hydration to the skin.
Step 5:
Face Pack – The final step is the face pack. It has a medium creamy consistency, which glides smoothly on my skin. A decent amount of product is required to cover the full face. It takes more time to dry than the other two variants but works better and gives an oil-free glow to the skin. It is quite easy to rinse off.
Results:
The product claims to cleanse the pores deeply and make skin bright. I have oily skin and this kit cleanses the skin deeply, making it oil-free, fresh and clear. It feels very soothing as well. My skin has firmed up quite a bit and looks healthy too. This facial kit has removed the dull texture and provided a bright, clear glow to it.
It has also provided a good amount of hydration to the skin. It can’t reduce dark spots or pigmentation but it definitely adds a glow to the skin. Hence, this is a good kit for times when you need instant glow. Please note the glow lasts just 2-3 days. Overall, this is a good facial kit and is perfect for the wedding season.
