In case you have read my previous reviews on shower gels, you would know that I am a sucker for them. All my summers go into looking for new shower gels and finishing one bottle after the another. Here is a picture of my first lot of shower gels I bought this summer, followed by Dirty Works Crème De La and Anatomicals. Finished almost all the bottles! I had been eying Anatomicals shower gels since long, and finally picked up two: Java Lather Coffee Buzz Body Cleanser and ‘Your Taps are Going to be so Turned On’ Fruity Bath Gel. Today, I’ll be reviewing Java Lather Coffee Buzz.

My Experience with Anatomicals Java Lather Coffee Buzz Body Cleanser:
Not every bath gel, we come across, is a keeper. I feel the Body Shop shower gels are the best from whatever I have tried so far. However, this one is a serious competition to all the shower gels around. It totally blew away my mind.
It comes in a square shaped plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. Since it is coffee based, to me, it made more sense to make everything brown when it comes to packaging, but this one is mustard and yellow, on the contrary. It’s a different packaging from usual, and I like it. There is cool stuff written all over it.
The liquid dispensed is almost clear (I again expected it to be creamy beige fluid, how else a coffee based gel would look like!) But, if you take in large quantity or on a white loofah you can see an orangish tinge of color. It lathers quickly with a good amount of water.
I saved the best thing for the last, the fragrance. OMG! What an absolutely divine fragrance! It immediately reminded me of Starbucks Java Chip. It is a strong smell, not strong enough that it is troublesome but cannot be ignored for sure. The best part is that the fragrance lingers on you for a couple of hours after the bath. I smelled my hands after some hours of bath and I could smell coffee faintly. That’s a win for me! When I picked up my loofah the next day, it still smelled like yummy coffee.
