Avon Naturals has a soap range which has four variants- Fairness Bar Soap, Deodorising Bar soap, Nourishing Bar soap & Exfoliating bar soap. I have got the Fairness bar Soap & Deodorising Bar soap & here’s my take on that.
Avon Naturals Fairness Bar Soap
What does Avon Claim about this Soap Bar: Natural Fairness Bar soap contains a blend of natural ingredients to help lighten the appearance of the skin. Provides mild & gentle cleansing that leaves the skin feeling soft & smooth. Suitable for all skin types.
How to use: Wet Body. Apply Bar soap directly onto the skin. Work into a creamy lather. Rinse thoroughly. Use daily

Price: Rs.49 INR for 100g.
My Experience: This is a pink colored soap & has a nice floral fragrance. It lathers well & doesn’t dry out my skin. Though I didn’t get this for the fairness claims, I must say I haven’t seen any change in the skin tone. It’s just a regular soap bar which smells floral & leaves your skin lightly fragranced for 1-2 hours. It doesn’t make the bath an uplifting experience but it does make you feel fresh.

My Experience: This light green colored soap bar, it resembles the Cinthol soap & has almost the same fragrance. Every time I take a bath with soap it makes me feel refreshed. It has mint & basil extracts that provides the long lasting deo effect. The soap doesn’t make skin dry or stretched & provides a good lather to experience a refreshing bath.

sometimes going shopping alone can be scary. I was roaming around in mall the other day and then I went to FCUK store. It was around 7 : 30 in evening and there were no customers in the stores. Only two men SAs and one girl SA. I was checking out stuff at their store and this male SA cam eup to me and said that i try jump suit. I was a little reluctant coz there were no customers. he insisted i said okay. the trail rooms were towards the end of the store and ofcourse all of them were empty. The doors are such that someone can peep from below or may be see a part of your legs . I was scared but i still went ahead. and while i was still trying stuff, I suddenly got scared because I knew that the SA was sort of around and then worst, the SA asked me if I wanted another size or something. It was getting creepy. I changed and almost ran from the store,. Have never gone back to FCUK since then and I am too scared to go now. :tremble: :tremble: :tremble:

1. Soap Bar could turn mushy or soggy whereas a body wash comes in a bottle.
2. From my experience I have seen body washes leave a film or residue whereas a soap bar gets rinsed off easil.
3. Soap bars are more prone to contamination whereas body wash come in bottle & have little less risk.
4. Body washes are travel friendly when compared to soap bars.
These are a few things I could think of & this is all from my experience, some people may have a different opinion. :yes:
