Avon 3 Blushes: Review and Swatches
Rosy Cheeks, Naturally Nude, Blooming Peach

Price:
Rs. 149 each on offer.

Avon recently gave a facelift to its most affordable and versatile range, “Simply Pretty” with new pinker packaging rather than the old drab black packaging of cheap plastic. Plastic is still cheap and the colors and shades are all repeated, but they do claim to have improved the formula.
I am doing this review to show you how these claims of new improved formula with a brighter packaging can be an eyewash! Read on and you will be surprised!
I am an Avon representative and I try very very hard to suggest the right and good products to all my friends as I know girls may not buy a blush or an eyeshadow that often and when they do, they must get the value for money; more so with first-time buyers; if they are disappointed with a blush, they would have a bad opinion in their minds about the brands and their products.
If I have used a pathetic product from Avon, I make sure it goes into the periphery and never ever recommend it to anyone. Being the seller, I also spend my hard-earned money to try out new launches so that the people can buy good stuff. So now, for the review, seeing the real picture and the ones’ off the brochure is like “zameen asmaan ka farak,” so I am doing this post for all of you to see the real shades and not waste a single paise over stuff that will disappoint you. I am here to do the job for you 😥 :haanji:
Simply Pretty has three blushes in total, a pink, a peach, and a brownish nude color. Naturally nude (same shade as new in older packaging).
Rosy Cheeks:
Coming back to the nude one, this shade is almost like a light bronzer and is brown. The texture of this is average soft, I would say, and nothing pigmented or anything unique to go ga-ga over. Honestly, the color is pretty and nude, but the color hardly shows up on the face. It very very mild and light that you would need to layer it on and on. In that way, its good for college or office, where you want just a hint and almost no-makeup look, but then, why would you buy this?
Buy this if you really like the color and nude blush. Don’t expect anything from the pigmentation and the packaging, you get what you pay for!
Now, the next one is Rosy Cheeks. Rosy Cheeks is a light pink shade and it does feel smoother than the others and its got a light peachy sheen. I feel this should have been named blooming peach as this one is peachier and the peach one is pinker :stars:
Blooming Peach:
This has a light frosted sheen and barely shows up on the skin. I will not recommend it to anyone because it just won’t show up on Indian skin tones, perhaps it might on very light skin.
Naturally Nude:
This one is an absolute disaster! It’s a hard pink chalk packed in the shape of a blush. That’s all :spank:. It is so hard that when I rub my brush or finger on the color, NOTHING at all would come off. It’s like some limestone :D. No color, texture, pigmentation at all whatsoever, crap, do not ever buy it!
Last Word:
I will not recommend these to anyone. These are very very average and the peach one is an under-average blush. The brush  never mind, but the pigmentation of the rosy and nude one is average. The blush is tiny, not that any one would care. Can you see the swatches, no color at all in the peach one. I have to throw it away as I can’t scrape out the blush. It won’t come on the finger nor on the brush :spank:. The colors don’t even show up on the face.
Word of Caution:
It so happens many times in Avon that the same shade may vary from each other in texture, so maybe some stock that you may get may be smoother. The nude and rosy one is better than the peach one, the peach one is just chalk. Never mind the ingredients, which may be sure to cause break outs. These are just horrible, chalky, powdery, hard, disgusting, crap! If at all you wanna try, get the Rosy Cheeks.
Rating:
Naturally Nude: 2.5 on 5.
Rosy Cheeks: 2 on 5.
Blooming Peach: .5 on 5 (just because its Avon).

Thanks for such an honest review inspite of being an Avon distributor. I dont have an Avon distributor where I live (Hi-tech, Hyderabad) but sometimes I do wish there was one close by. Have read some wonderful revew of other Avon products. And I would have gone for the peach one 🙁 thanks for saving us the money and the disappointment.

Thank u so much…I was almost buying the blooming peach this time. Then got confused as to which colour would suit me and gave it a miss. Im so glad.
:high5: blooming peach toh is just lime stone :snicker: :snicker: or chalk pink and pressed
so true i had once bought naturally nude i almost never use it as blush. I use maybelline peach satin and layer on top with naturally nude so that the shine of mousse blush doesnt highlight my big pores 🙂 just works that way and nothing else 😛 serious disaster 😛
