Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Review

Skin type: oily

Hey all,

Who doesn’t love pampering their skin and finding the best affordable products for the same! I love masks and I often use multani mitti and gram flour masks on my face, but I wanted to try something better to clear up my skin. A makeup product recently gave me some bad reaction and it refused to get better. So, I picked up the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, and here I am sharing my views on the same.

Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Review

Price: $7.50
Ingredients: Natural calcium bentonite green clay
How to Use: Put a spoon of this greyish green clay powder in a bowl and add few drops of water or you can use Apple Cider Vinegar. I use water because the Vinegar burns the eyes if you put it nearby. Also, this vinegar can be a little harsh for sensitive skin.

My Experience with Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay:

I have seen a ton of videos of women with barely any marks or acne using this and claiming that this mask is an overnight miracle mask. But it hasn’t done much for my skin. At first, when you apply it, it feels quite thick and then it dries up a lot. You will feel the clay pulling out dirt from your pores. It just did not help my acne at all. It has soothed my skin, reduced redness, and has dried my acne too.

This mask is not the best one for people with dry skin because it sucks out all the oils from your skin because this is made to cure acne. Like we all know, oil creates more and more acne so it is important to dry out the spots to reduce them. The thing I like about this is that it did not cause any extra breakouts or irritation. It feels refreshing once you take it off. Make sure you leave it on for 5 to 8 minutes only.

Also, you only need a small spoon for the entire face. You can also use this on places where you have deep pigmentation problems. This will reduce the darkness a little. I will continue using the product to see how it works and also mix it with multani mitti to see how the two work for my skin. I have extremely oily skin and at this point anything that takes off the oil is welcome in my skincare routine. I am sure oily skinned beauties will love this product.

You can use this twice a week, every day or once a week too. Depends on how quickly you want the results. Another good thing is that the box is quite huge and will last me for around 2 to 3 months for sure. This clay can be a little messy when you’re mixing it because it creates lumps in the water or vinegar. So make sure you stir it well before applying. This will also clog your drains.

• Doesn’t cause irritation
• Brightens the skin a little
• Dried out the acne
• Good for oily skin
• Can be used in many different ways
• Easy to take off
• Gives a refreshing feel
• A little goes a long way

Cons of Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay:

• Messy to use
• Didn’t do miracles for my skin
• Not a great face pack for dry skin
• Can clog the drains

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5
Overall: I do like this product, but I am not sure if this is a miracle worker like stated by many on the internet. It is good but not the best. Multani mitti and sandalwood powder work better for me.
