My Verdict On These Brushes:
After being satisfied with their eye shadow, lip gloss palette, and other things, I thought I should give the brushes on the BH cosmetics website a try. They have a good range of brushes for eye and face makeup that seemed very luring :D. As a beginner, I didn’t want to spend much on MAC/ Sigma brushes before getting some expertise in using brushes. I have a few brushes from Coastal Scents though, but even they are a little on the expensive side only (I got 4 brushes for INR 1800 around 4-5 months back). So, I ordered these 3 brushes alone and they were on sale then, costed me around Rs.1000 with shipping.
My first impression when I saw them was that they are like The Body shop brushes in appearance. The brushes have long handles with matte rubberised finish which makes them easy to handle and control. The bristles are soft enough, but not comparable to the brushes by Sigma/Coastal Scents.
The foundation brush has tightly-packed bristles and I can easily apply my foundations with it, without getting a streaky effect. The angled eye shadow brush seems a little too big for my small eye lids, it picks up a lot of product too, but I can easily apply/( pat pat) my eye shadows with this. Since the brush is angled, it could be great for achieving depth, definition, precision, and blend-ability in your crease area (I read it somewhere, I am very much a makeup novice as yet :P)
The stippling brush seemed very nice when I first picked up some cream blush with it, but when I started stippling/blending with it, I realised how useless it was. The bristles are dense, but not stiff or tightly packed. The brush doesn’t give a nice stippling effect at all and I am just using it for picking up my crème blush from the pan, that’s it
Bh cosmetics claims that these brushes are all made from animal hair (Goat, Pony, Sable, Raccoon and Taklon). The brushes are decent and I they don’t shed much while using or washing them.
Overall, the brushes I would say are of average quality. I wanted to try their 10-piece brush set, which a lot of bloggers rave about, but I guess I would skip that now. I believe their eye shadow palettes are great, but brushes are not their forte.
Summing its good and bad below:
 Decent/average quality brushes, good for beginners.
 Long, rubberised handles which provide good grip and control for easy application.
 Soft bristles.
 Decently priced.
 The stippling brush does not work well at all.
 The long handle tends to be difficult to work with if you need to apply makeup close to the mirror.
 Needs to be ordered online, not available in India.
