The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash

As promised I will be reviewing another product from The Body Shop and this is a facial wash from their Aloe range. Read on to know how it fared in terms of the claims.
Price:
Rs 695/- for 125ml (very expensive)
Product Description:
Skin comforting foam proven to cleanse without irritating. For Sensitive skin.
Packaging:
As it is a foaming facial wash there is a pump nozzle pretty strong and sturdy to dispense the product. Two pumps are enough for one time usage. The bottle is translucent so you can check when to buy a back-up. The bottle has a translucent cap which shuts with a click. So you can travel easily with it.
Texture:
Comes out as foam on pumping. Nothing much to say about the texture but it definitely is smooth on your skin.
My experience with The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Facial Wash:
Recently my skin is misbehaving so am trying to stick to products that are meant for sensitive skin. When I picked this up I had high hopes that my skin would be soothed. I am not complaining that it has irritated my skin but I did not notice any visible change in my skin. But thankfully it did not irritate my skin further. Though it claims to remove makeup I beg to differ in this aspect. My lipstick, eyeliner was not removed buy this; it was definitely lighter but not removed completely. This is an average product but I am happy as I am not fiddling with my skin at the moment. This is working for me, so I am going to stick to it for a while. Just that, do not expect miracles to happen out of this product.

• Does not remove make-up.

even though it is 125 ml bottle. it would last you very long.
i used my bottle for 4 months, didnt feel like throwing because of the price I paid but finally left the remaining 1/4th bottle in the cupboard.
coz in long run it makes skin dry and patchy. staying away is wiser. *spank*
to cure that dryness I am still using besan+raw milk. *headbang* *headbang*
