My Experience with Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Eye Cream:
I think this particular CC eye cream is available in 3 shades, but the shade selection disappointed me a little because it is not targeted towards Indian skin-tones. Still, I found a perfect shade for myself, and it’s called 23 Golden Beige.
The concealer comes in a beige coloured, long and sleek tube which I think indicates the shade. It has the details written over it in purple and green because the eye cream contains the colour correcting pigments that make the skin-tone appear better. The applicator is made up of silicon which ensures smooth and even application under the eye.
A small nozzle flushes out the eye cream. But for the initial use, the bottom twisty thing has to be rotated quite a few times to let the product out. From the second use, it comes out pretty quickly. The packaging is handy, hence can be carried around.
Shade, consistency and pigmentation:
The shade I picked up is the last shade out of the 3 available. The former 2 seemed pretty white for my under eye area but this one matches me perfectly. I think they should have come up with some more variety of shades that could cater to medium to dusky skin-tones too. The consistency is very creamy and not very runny once dabbed under the eye area. It is moderately thick, but blends very easily under my eyes. I just create 3 dots and then blend them downwards. The pigmentation looks quite sheer initially, but once blended, it could cover everything.
I was amazed to see the results! No one could even think that I had stubborn dark circles after I had this CC eye cream on. The colour correcting pigments quite nicely corrected the colour while hiding the dullness. My under eye area looked pretty bright and fresh. My eyes looked very lively as it concealed all the darkness. I set it out with a setting powder, and that’s how I created a perfect look for my eyes. It does not look cakey or fake like some of the heavy duty concealers.
It stays intact for 7-8 hours without melting off or settling into the fine lines or creases. It would stay on for somewhere around 6 hours if left alone, but it is a wise option to set it with a setting powder to keep this concealer fresh and intact.
An amazing product to try if you get a perfect match for your skin-tone!
