Bourjois Round Pot Blush Rose Eclat Review

Hi Everyone!!!

Today, I will be reviewing my first blush from Bourjois. I had heard a lot about Bourjois blushes and I was desperate to try one of these, but I was looking for a matte shade rather than shimmery blushes. I finally got it in Rose Eclat. I was confused between Rose Frisson and Rose Eclat, but then the particular online site I was ordering from didn’t have Rose Frisson in their stock, so I ordered Rose Eclat. I have this blush since 4-5 months and I have used it innumerable times. I really like this blush a lot, read on to find more about it.

My Take on Bourjois Round Pot Blush Rose Eclat:

Bourjois blushes come in small, round pots. The cap has magnetic lock which I quite like because of the way it gets locked when the cap is closed. There can be a problem in locating the blushes if you own more than two. The blush pot contains a cute, little, semi circular brush. Though the brush is of no use, I find it to be cute.

Rose Eclat has quickly become one of my favorite blushes. It is a warm smoky pink color with a hint of plum to it. It isn’t exactly rose pink or baby pink color, but slightly darker than it because of the plum. I am in love with this color. It contains micro shimmer in it which gives a nice glow to the cheeks. The color looks like natural flush when applied on the cheeks lightly. When applied heavily, it gives a hint of plum brown. This is a type of blush which can be used when you go to office or college and can even be used at parties. This color would suit fair to medium skin tones the most.

Pigmentation is amazing. A single swipe on the pan and the brush gets loaded up with the blush. A light single swipe is more than sufficient for a natural flush. Being intensely pigmented, it might give the appearance of clown cheeks when applied heavily. I always apply this blush with a light hand and prefer to build it up later.

The texture isn’t very smooth and soft because of being baked. Baked blushes have tendency to harden with time. In order to prevent it, they should be used regularly. Whenever my blush hardens, I sweep off the pan lightly with a brush and it becomes as good as new. This blush blends very easily. It stays on my oily skin for about 4-5 hours. It doesn’t settle into patches and doesn’t give uneven appearance.
