Buxom Big and Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick Evocative Petal Review

I haven’t tried a lot of products from Buxom, but now, everything that I am trying from the brand, it’s leaving me super impressed! Buxom Bold Gel lipstick has become one of my favorite lipstick formulas. The shade that I have selected for review today is “Evocative Petal.”

My Experience with Buxom Big and Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick Evocative Petal:

This bold gel lipstick from Buxom comes housed in a chunky matte black tube with magnetic closure. The lipstick tube has Buxom indentation on it. The name of the shade is printed on the bottom of the tube.

As I have mentioned above, it has become one of my favourite lipstick formulas. In most lipsticks, I look for matte, comfortable, and long-lasting aspects, and this Buxom bold gel lipstick ticks all those boxes for me.

It is like a jumbo lipstick tube which covers a large area of the lips in a single swipe, but I feel because of this, precision is compromised. The formulation of this lipstick is just stunning! It offers matte finish without drying out lips. It glides on very easily and feels very lightweight and comfortable.

I didn’t notice any bleeding or feathering which is a major concern for some people. It makes your lips look fuller and smooth, and doesn’t settle into fine lines of the lips, but you do need to scrub your lips before applying this lipstick since it clings on to the dry patches of the lips.

“Evocative Petal” is a unique unique muted deep peachy pink coral shade, it will suit everyone. It is perfect to add a pop of colour to your look. This shade looks deceiving in the tube. Not only the formula is stunning, the staying power is also great. I get full 5 to 6 hours of wear time without any drinking or eating. It does fade away when you eat or drink but it does leave a stain behind, so your lips wouldn’t look flat even if it has worn off a little bit.
