Rose lip colours have been the most trending lip colours this year, since the pantone colour of the year is “rose quartz”! I picked up some lip crayons from Chambor, just to try how they work and here I am with one subtle and light shade called “burnt rose”! See how it looks on me.

My Experience with Chambor 01 Burnt Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour:
Packaging: The chambor lip crayon comes in a navy blue box, which is the signature box of chambor cosmetics. The crayon comes in a simple sleek pencil format which is colour coded. The colour coding makes it very easy to spot these. It has a cap, which is tight and won’t harm the bullet. But, the main issue with the packaging is that, these crayons must be sharpened which cause a lot of product wastage. And, they have not given any sharpener with it, so I am waiting to grab one. The price is definitely expensive but the other crayons cost this much as well.
Shade: The shade “burnt rose” is a pretty rosy pink shade, which is more like a baby pink shade. It is a soft pink, that makes the lips look very feminine. It is a great shade for those romantic and soft evening wear looks. It has very little shimmers in it, which make it look like a metallic finish. It does look very pretty but it will not suit all the skin-tones. It is apt for fair to medium skin-tones; however, I wish it was without shimmers. Around 2-3 swipes are needed for the colour to perfectly come on my lips.
Texture and finish: The texture is super creamy and glides very smooth on the lips. However, since it gives a matte finish, it will cling to very dry lips, hence I have to scrub and moisturize my lips. It feels a little dry after a while, but it does not bother a lot.
Staying power: It stayed on my lips for around 6-7 hours. A little colour may fade with food but most of the colour stays in-tact. But it becomes a bit stark and patchy after food especially during winters when the lips become extra dry. It does not transfer much but settles a bit in fine lines.
Overall really good lip crayons with a stunning matte finish.

• Can’t be duped easily.

• Lasts super log say 6-7 hours on the lips.
• Comes off easily with a makeup remover.
Cons of Chambor 01 Burnt Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour:
• Expensive.
• They should have given a sharpener with it.
• Not for dusky skin-tones.
• May cling to very dry lips.
• The lip colour becomes a bit patchy and stark after a while.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Chambor 01 Burnt Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour again?
I liked the soft romantic shade but I wish it was without shimmers. I would love to try the other shades but won’t buy this again.
Conclusion:
I just wish they launch some more shades in a retractable crayon form because using these sharpening ones is a tedious task.
