Today, I will be reviewing Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine in the shade 69 Flirt. This is my first Chanel lipstick and I wanted to share my views about it. Since Chanel products are always expensive, it’s always a good idea to do some homework before stepping into the outlet. So read on and find out how it fared for me.

My Experience with Chanel 69 Flirt Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine:
The glistening black body has a very sophisticated look with the Chanel logo on the top and wide gold ring in the middle. It is rather handy and sturdy. The cap shuts with a click sound and gets fixed. Thus, the lipstick won’t ever open by accident in the handbag or vanity. What a brilliant packaging!
69 Flirt is like a peachy orange color. This is not an extraordinary shade but you’d like it if you’re into nude or subtle lip colors. This color would suit all skin tones well whether you’re fair or dusky. The pigmentation of 69 Flirt is a major bummer. One swipe never delivers enough color on the lips.
You can as well use it over any matte finish lipstick to make it shiny and glossy. The texture is smooth and buttery and glides gracefully on the lips. There is a lot to complain about and its longevity is not even average. It is a huge disappointment as this lipstick cannot even survive one meal.
I should rather refer to this lipstick as a balm or gloss. It has silver shimmers, which give sheer pigmentation and a luminous shine to the lips. It is quite lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy at all. However, this lipstick has almost no pigmentation; at least 3 swipes are required to attain a visible sheen. Nevertheless, it moisturises the lips and is suitable for daily use.
It doesn’t settle into the lip lines and is very smooth in texture. I’m very disappointed with the persisting ability of this lipstick because it completely wipes off even before I consume something. You might not like to pair it with deep smokey eyes, but it goes comfortably with light, nude makeup.
Overall, I’m not at all flattered. I usually glide this lipstick on when I’m not in a mood to play with colours. Since I have spent a good sum on this lipstick, I am trying to use it daily as a lip balm to avoid wastage.

• Moisturising formula softens and hydrates the lips
• Nude orange colour is great for everyday makeup looks

Cons of Chanel 69 Flirt Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine:
• Expensive but does not give value for money
• Poor staying power
• Poor pigmentation
• The fragrance isn’t very flattering

Will I Recommend/Repurchase Chanel 69 Flirt Rouge Coco Shine Hydrating Sheer Lipshine?
Absolutely nah. Why would I splurge a whopping amount of money on a very basic nude lipstick? I was expecting something better from Chanel. So it’s better not to put your money down the drain by purchasing this lipstick as you might get cheaper dupes easily.
