Recently on my visit to India, I picked up a Chanel Lip color at Singapore Airport. So today, I am going to review “Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour” in the shade “63 Nightfall”. Read on to find out whether this is a hit or a miss.

Product Description:

Result: a matte yet luminous finish from the very first stroke.
How to Use:
Apply directly to the lips. For perfectly defined lips, wear ROUGE ALLURE VELVET with a line of LE CRAYON LÈVRES in the same shade. Then, apply the lipstick with the brush of the pencil.

My Experience with Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour 63 Nightfall:
Packaging: The packaging of this lippie is luxurious and chic. It comes in Chanel’s iconic black lacquer case, where you press the golden bottom and the golden case carrying the lipstick bullet comes out of the black cover. One end carries the logo of Chanel and the other end has the shade name and number mentioned. There is also an outer black cardboard box with the product details and ingredient list printed. Overall, I adore this packaging.
Shade: Chanel offers a huge variety of shades in this range. I picked up the shade “63 Nightfall”, which is a beautiful deep red color. This is a gorgeous shade and will work on any skin tone. The shade itself is very festive and is appropriate for weddings and parties.
Formula: The texture of the lipstick is silky and creamy and applies well on the lips without tugging or pulling. These have amazing pigmentation and gives full on colour in one single swipe. These are full on pigmented lipsticks. They have a luminous satin matte finish on the lips. The lipstick feels moisturising and soft on the lips. These do not give a tight feeling to lips and there is no need to apply balm before its application. Overall, this is a wonderful formula which glides on like a dream on the lips without clinging to dry patches and feels very comfortable and lightweight.
Staying Power: These have a impressive staying power as well. They last a good six hours, and leaves a beautiful stain behind. Reapplication and removal of this lippie is also quiet easy.
Overall, I love the packaging, quality, shade, staying power and everything about this lipstick is impressive and I will definitely recommend this to everyone. These are worth for every penny you pay.
