A lip scrub is essential since it makes your lips a perfect canvas for matte lip colors and makes your lips look smooth and polished. I have been using granulated sugar and honey to scrub my lips, but I heard Charlotte Tilbury launched her version of lip scrub. I was excited to try it. Let’s read how it works.
Lip Renewing Honey Bee Scrub
Perfect your pout with Lip Love – my delicious Lip Renewing Honeybee Scrub. Natural sugar crystals gently remove dead cells and boost circulation, which helps to eliminate those fine lines around your mouth that may cause lipstick to stray. The delicious, emollient-rich formula contains jojoba seed oil, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa seed butter and beeswax for naturally nourished and plumped-up results. Lip Love is smoothing, soothing and just the thing for those with dry lips, or to prep your pout for bold lipstick.
Natural sugar crystals enhance circulation and help eliminate fine lines around the mouth. They will gently slough away dead skin cells to reveal a fresh, youthful and flawless lip surface.
The crystals a suspended in a soothing mix of natural ingredients:
• Jojoba seed oil and olive oil moisturise and keep the lips supple.
• Shea butter, cocoa seed butter and beeswax condition and smooth, while providing a softening and healing antiseptic barrier.
• Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant that conditions and protects against free radical damage.
My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Love:
This comes housed in a transparent pot with the rose gold screw up lid with CT logo on the top and the product name label at the bottom. This contains 5.1 gram of the product. The pot looks very chic and elegant; after all, it’s from Charlotte Tilbury.
The texture of Lip Love is soft. It has sugar crystals and combination of jojoba oil, olive oil, shea butter, cocoa seed butter and beeswax. When you scrub your lips, the scrub is not harsh on the lips. It does remove dead skin cells and makes your lips appear smoother and polished. It even hydrates your lips.
This lip scrub is finely milled and I can apply this as a lip balm, swirl it around my lips and blot it off with a tissue. The sugar crystals are teeny tiny but remove dead skin perfectly. It has a beautiful and fruity but mild scent. I like this and I think it is worth the $28 price tag.
Pros of Charlotte Tilbury Lip Love:
- Removes dead skin without being harsh on the lips
- Beautiful packaging
- Hydrates the lips
- Finely milled
- Leaves your lips feeling smooth and polished
Cons of Charlotte Tilbury Lip Love:
IMBB Rating: 4.2/5
