Hey IMBB Family,
Hope you’re all doing well. My review today is about this beautiful eye pencil that I picked up from a drugstore in Dubai. It is called the ‘Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil – SC03. Honestly, before I bought this pencil, I had never heard about this brand at all. Being a sucker for attractive packaging that I am, I picked up the pencil just by looking at the catchy packaging. I believe that sometimes generic brands can also give good results. But was I wrong this time? Read on to find out.
Description and Claims:
Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03 are highly pigmented liners made of top quality ingredients and durable construction. The aloe-based formula is sturdy enough to sharpen and keep a point, yet soft and creamy to the touch. Easily creates crisp lines and correct shape. The only liner to actually seal to the surface, this waterproof pencil prevents bleed and provides all-day wear after just a few seconds of dry time.
AED 12/- or Approx Rs. 200/-
My Experience with Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03:
The pencil has a beautiful hot pink exterior with black animal print on it. It is a very catchy packaging, one the main reasons why I bought this product, in the first place. It has a standard pull to open lid that seals the pencils very comfortably and effectively. The back of the pencil shows the exact colour shade. The pencil is easily sharpened.
The Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03 is a beautiful teal coloured pencil that is amazingly pretty to look at. It glides on beautifully on the skin without needing to tug or pull the skin taut. It is also highly pigmented, just like the company claims to be. It is definitely soft and creamy to apply and feels great on the skin. The colour has a very little bit of shine to it which makes it even more fun. It can also be smudged easily or can be converted to eye shadow. It looks great as an eye shadow as well.
On the down side, however, the product gets smudged very easily, despite giving a long dry time. The picture below shows how easily it got smudged just by swiping my finger once through it. But if you’re careful with your eyes, you can still manage to wear the eye pencil long enough for good 4–5 hours; after which it will begin to fade.
Pros of the Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03:
- Soft and creamy.
- Glides on beautifully.
- Highly pigmented.
- Has a soft sheen to it.
- Very reasonably priced.
- Can be substituted as eye shadow as well.
- Attractive packaging.
Cons of the Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03:
- Smudges very easily.
- Not widely available.
- Pencil needs to be sharpened constantly, which lazy people like me won’t like.
Final verdict: To conclude, I would like to add that this pencil is definitely soft and creamy and the colours are highly pigmented. They also have a wide range of other beautiful colours which I intend to try out soon. Considering the price, I think it’s okay if it smudges a little. It’s so affordable that I will definitely purchase more shades soon.
Would I I repurchase/recommend Cinema Secrets Eye and Lip Pencil SC03?
Definitely yes! They have such vibrant shades in such affordable prices that I will definitely buy. I will also recommend you all to try it out.
