My Experience with City Color M5 Red Be Matte Lipstick:
City Color M5 Red Be Matte Lipstick comes in a matte black rectangular packaging. It has a transparent lid. I really like the packaging because it is neat and classy. Only the name of the product is printed and rest details are on the little sticker. The lipstick is a slanted one and is round in shape. It makes for easy application of the lipstick.
The shade “M5 Red” is the gorgeous shade in this range. I like it more than “M3 Mauve” because it is super pigmented and the most comfortable lipstick out of the 6 that I own.
It looks super pretty on the lips as well. M5 is a classy red shade. This shade gives my lips a satin to a semi-matte finish.
The texture of this lipstick is as creamy on the lips, as on the hand when swatched. This doesn’t feel extremely drying on the lips like other shades. In fact, it feels very comfortable to wear. Also, it doesn’t go on patchy, it goes on very smoothly on the lips. It also doesn’t need a lip balm underneath it, and you can get away without one too.
This is a very forgiving color and would suit a lot of different skin tones. This lipstick lasts for 3-4 hours depending on eating/drinking/talking. Normally, it lasts up to 5 hours with some fading.
