I am so excited about this eyeshadow from Colorbar’s Emphaseyes range. The main reason is its multi-tasking abilities. The shadow is a perfect pink highlight shade for my brow bone, high cheek bone and also for my lids. This can be a great keeper if you like to keep your makeup kit minimalistic.

My Experience with Colorbar Alive Emphaseyes Eyeshadow:
This shadow comes in a good silver and sturdy packaging. There is no applicator or mirror provided, but I hardly consider it a problem. “Alive” is a light mild baby pink with pearl sheen. It is on the metallic side but there is no chunky shimmer in it.
The shimmer is very fine which makes it a great find for me as a highlighter too. This shadow is very smooth, with an almost creamy consistency to it. The color is good for light to medium skin tones with neutral or pinker undertones. This can be placed on the lid to highlight the eyes.
This eyeshadow when blended out reduces the potency, it becomes very sheer. To work it best, place with flat patting motion on the lids. For the highlight, for my fair to medium skin tone with little pink tone to it, I like to apply it on my cheek bones a lot. Even for the bridge of the nose, this works good.
This lasts on a foundation or eyeshadow primer for 4 plus hours easily. Overall, this has proved to be a good purchase for me.
