As I am aging, I have started to include a lot of chemicals and acids in my skin care routine to maintain the quality of my skin and its texture and also to prevent premature ageing. Although these ingredients do work, eventually, they make skin extremely sensitive to sun and it is imperative to slather skin with a good SPF to protect it against sun and UV radiation damage. In this quest, I have picked up Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50. Here’s the detailed review on this sunscreen.
This sunscreen combines hydration with sun protection with SPF50 PA+++ and aloe leaf extract to keep skin moisturized even on the hottest days. Soft and moist sun block with 5,500ppm of Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water supplies moist and nutrient to skin and prevents UVA and UVB at the same time.
My Experience with Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50:
These days, skin care industry is flooded with loads of skin care products with strong potent chemicals in them that make our skin photo and sun sensitive, hence it is important to wear a good SPF sunscreen to protect your skin. Most cosmetics such as foundation and compact powders do contain SPF, but it is still helpful to add an extra layer of SPF as part of face prep before the usual makeup routine.
Most of my adult life, I have used Neutrogena sun cream which has worked fine for me until now except that I find it a bit hard to work with and spread on my skin. Also, it is always fun to try out new products and take a break from the routine. So, I decided to add a Korean brand SPF to my recent beauty haul and see if it was any better than my usual choice.
It was a relief to see that it comes in a good size tube which has a generous amount, unlike some skin care products which come in a micro size packaging. The tube has a flip cap – nothing extraordinary about it, but still serves the purpose well. Hence, there is enough quantity of product to try out and enjoy its efficacy before it runs out. It is a cream/gel kind to touch and is easier to spread on face compared to the Neutrogena SPF. It did provide a good base for my makeup and made foundation application a little easier. It also does not cast a creepy white cast in photographs.
It has SPF 50 which is very rare to find in facial sun creams but it is essential to use a good sun protection factor on face to prevent sun damage.
Another great feature about this product is that it contains aloe vera. It is a very common but equally good skin care ingredient. It soothes skin and makes the application process much easier and enjoyable.
It is an affordable face sun cream with soothing properties of aloe vera in it. I enjoy applying it as part of my morning skin care routine and I do recommend it to those who are looking for a good sun cream.

Cons of Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50:

- The ingredient list is provided in Korean which is not fair to people like me and the company should change its policy especially since they are targeting customers across the globe.
