My Experience with Cover FX Correct Click Color Corrector Brick:

Cover FX has a unique concept behind the click stick products. They have launched different types of sticks for various purposes; some of them are Cover Click (foundation, concealer, contour), Enhance Click (Highlighter, Strobing), Blush Click(Blush) and Correct Click(Color Corrector).

Cover FX Correct Click Color Corrector Brick Outer Cover

The Correct click color corrector is very small, almost half the quantity is only present when compared to the stick foundations from other brands. Cover FX made it this way for an another reason. They have a separate “Click Stick”. It looks like an empty silver barrel, which is sold separately. They have developed this click stick to hold two products from this stick range at a time, for example, we can put the foundation and color corrector stick together in the barrel or the blush stick and the enhance stick on either side of the barrel. We need to press one end of the “Click Stick” to pop the required product from the other end. They have designed this outer case to make it more travel-friendly, and ease up the makeup application during commuting. The actual color corrector comes in a black shiny cardboard box, which contains the actual corrector stick that is housed in a small silver barrel with the name of the brand engraved on the top. The shade number is mentioned on the barrel bottom and has a purple sticker. I think this shade confuses people on identifying the color inside.

It is a cream color corrector stick that blends like a dream on the skin. Cover FX has launched six shades of color corrector. Lavender, Purple and Green are mainly used to cover redness and also to give brightness. Peach, orange and brick all do the same thing- they correct dark circles under the eyes and hides hyperpigmentation. Peach is used to cover pigmentation in lighter skin tones, orange is for medium skin tones and Brick is designed for deeper skin tones.

I picked the shade “Brick” for my medium tanned skin tone. First I thought it will be dark for me, but I felt it was perfect for me. I am not sure whether this will work for deeper complexions as I felt that this was a lighter brick color.

This product is very creamy and has an amazing pigmentation and a small amount gives wonderful coverage. I always use it after my primer before foundation especially around my mouth and under my eyes to cover the darkness. It blends wonderfully well and color corrects to the point. Usually, if I follow with a light foundation, I require an another layer of the foundation over the corrector as it is extremely pigmented and shows off a little if not covered properly. But, a single layer is sufficient if a high coverage foundation is used. It lasts all day and pairs well under any products and gives a flawless finish to the makeup look.
