Dior Prestige Satin Revitalizing Creme Review
We generally don’t publish sample reviews on IMBB, but with this one from Dior, I saw the effects with the sample itself, so thought why not review it for you all. I received it as a sample when I purchased the Dior Gel Creme Compact. I checked the price online and it’s a whopping 330 dollars which means around Rs. 18000 *shock* *shock* Read on further to know more about this luxurious creme in detail.

My Take on Dior Prestige Satin Revitalizing Creme:
I cannot even begin to describe how luxurious this creme feels. It has a lovely yet strong rose fragrance to it. The silky, lightweight, satiny creme comes in an attractive tub packaging. Looking at the ingredients list, it has rich stuff in it, but the good thing is that it is water based and hence suitable for all skin types include oily and acne-prone skin types. I first thought of using it only on my forehead because such rich anti-ageing creams tend to break me out badly, but when I saw that it made my forehead area soft, supple and smooth, I tried it on the entire face. This tub lasted me around 10 to 12 days and I could see quick results, hence this review.
First of all, talking about the fragrance – the lovely rose fragrance lingers on for a few minutes after application. Those who do not like fragrances in their skin care products, should stay away. The creme applies very smoothly on the skin and immediately moisturizes and hydrates skin. It completely clears out dry patches without feeling heavy on the skin. In fact, it does not make skin oily or cause it to sweat out profusely. This creme makes the face soft and supple to touch and I could wear it under foundation and makeup. I used it mostly during the daytime. Since there’s no SPF, a sunscreen is a must. On the fine lines on my forehead, it had a plumping effect and smoothed out fine lines to an extent. I had some peeling due to anti-acne ointments and this creme completely soothed my irritated skin.
It did not break me out at all. I think it’s the kind of cream we all look out for – rich without being greasy, soothing, hydrating, moisturizing, and works on fine lines. I so wish the price was a bit low, not a bit low – quite low, 18k for 50 ml is out of my coverage area 😛
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed using this creme and I wish I get more samples with the next Dior purchase 😛
