I am back here with another DIY and this time it is the Metallic Gold Lip Gloss. I wanted to try this DIY from the time L’Oreal Paris has launched their Pure Gold Obsession as I did not want to spend a huge amount on a lipstick that I will not be using much. Finally, I did try the DIY and I am really happy and satisfied with its results.
So, let us begin with our DIY.
Ingredients:
- A bowl.
- Any lip brush.
- Earbud.
- Any eye shadow palette that contains metallic gold eyeshadow.
- Vaseline petroleum jelly.
Procedure:
1. Take a bowl and scrape off some metallic eye shadow into the bowl.
2. Then, add some Vaseline petroleum jelly.
3. Mix Vaseline petroleum jelly with the metallic gold eye shadow with an earbud.
4. Then, it is all ready to apply. Here is a swatch on my hand of how it looks.
5. This is how it looks on my lips.
Benefits:
Yayyy!!!!! I am super happy with its results and it is not a pinch on the pocket as it is super economical and also very easy to make. The only thing about this DIY metallic gold lipgloss is that it does not survive meals. But, you can be rest assured that there will be no side effects of using this DIY lip gloss as it will help to moisturise your lips. Vaseline petroleum jelly prevents the lips from cracking and keeps it soft. Metallic gold is one of the boldest colors that one would choose to apply. We just need to be confident that we will be able to carry the color. Also, it is much in trend now and I have seen people drooling over the new trend of metallic colors.
