Eye color: brown
How are you doing today? We are experiencing hot mornings but evenings are still colder than usual thankfully. I love switching to pastel colors during summers as they provide a relief to even spectators who are admiring your beauty. 😛 Talking about makeup, I really admire and want to master the technique of faking bigger eyes as I have medium sized eyes. Thankfully, I found some wonderful tricks and the products to achieve the look. I am here to share my views about this cool-cool highlighting liner with you all which brighten up and open up sleepy eyes with its glistening yet non-frosty finish. So, let’s read more about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Gold Metallic Luster Liner!

My Experience with Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Gold Metallic Luster Liner:
The luster liner comes in an absolutely attractive, sleek and color-coordinated sharpenable pencil packaging with a transparent cap. I find it pretty user-friendly and travel-friendly. The luster liner is available in two shades: Liquid Silver and Liquid Gold. Considering my skin tone and eye color, I picked the Liquid Gold and, let me tell you, it is such a beautiful metallic gold shade, unlike the usual gold liners we see. I mean, it does not look typical shimmery gold; it has a cool-toned molten gold pigmentation with a bit of pastel green undertones.
It shows up beautifully on my pale skin tone complementing my brown eyes well. The best part is that I need not think about the color combinations with this shade as a little touch of gold on the inner corners of my eyes or even a generous swipe of gold on the outer lash line bring the “wow factor” to my face. Whether I wear it alone with black kohl/eye liner or simply pair it with neutral or black smoky eye makeup looks, it adds beauty to my eyes. It offers endless opportunities to spice up my eye makeup with its slightest touch; you just need to be creative, that’s all.
And, the USP of this product is that it never looks frosty on the eyes; it has the perfect ratio of shimmers which never look OTT. In fact the shimmers provide the ‘wide awake’ look to my eyes. Impressive, huh? Talking about the texture and the formula, it is true to its description – soft, buttery formula almost feels like molten gold when swiped on the skin which soon dries onto a smudge-free stain. It has such an effortless slip in its texture which makes my eye makeup sessions way easier. I like its intensely pigmented color payoff which imparts a smooth, flake-free and streak-free finish in just 1-2 swipes.
I usually swipe it twice to intensify my makeup for photography while in person one gentle touch is good enough. Moreover I need not to use a primer or a base to sport this shade as it stays put comfortably without transferring, feathering or smudging on my eyes for good 7-8 hours. I do feel the need to intensify the color, but no complaints as such. I have worn it on different occasions recently, sometimes closer to the lash line and on the inner corners of my eyes and it has never caused irritation or stinging, thankfully.
In fact, it is completely waterproof as it never gives up on my watery eyes which is really commendable as I have seen even the best of best liners fading. To sum it up for you, this is one of the most versatile, long-lasting, smudge-free, flake-free, non-streaky, non-tugging, creamy and soft liner in the market. It fulfills all your expectations of being an ideal highlighter cum eyeliner. I am hooked on to this pencil and I haven’t seen anything closer to this beauty, hence I have bought an extra in advance already. Are you still waiting for the final verdict?
