People associate fashion with size whereas it is all about proportions. The first and the foremost rule in fashion is to know your body shape and dress accordingly. You can look flattering irrespective of your size once you start following this rule. This article will help you understand the basic body shapes and what looks best on them.

Short Legs and Long Torso

•    Your waist will be lower than your bent elbow.
•    Typically your bottom will be low and heavy.

Style aims: You should try and create the illusion of longer legs and shorter torso. You should aim at drawing the attention towards your shoulder and face.

Should wear:
•    Short to medium-long tops
•    Dark pants or skirts with medium or light tops
•    Straight skirts
•    Belts (medium to wide)

•    Medium long tops
