Hello pretty IMBBians!
I did a small haul during thanksgiving and Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders Bath Powder is one of the products I received but couldn’t use because of the weather. Bath powder is typically spring/summer product for me. Earlier, I have used similar products from local brands. Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders bath powder was formulated on the theme of White Shoulders perfume by the brand. Let’s see how this fared for me.

My Experience with Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders Bath Powder:

powder packaging

Starting with the packaging, Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders bath powder has an eye catching packaging. The round jar is light pink in color, with a sealing lid inside to avoid spillage during travels. Also, bath powder is dispensed from small holes to avoid product wastage. Overall, it has an adorable, functional and convenient packaging. It is light weight too.

Now coming to the product details and performance of Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders bath powder, it is a finely milled powder which is soft and velvety in texture. The usage is simple and easy; just apply the powder with the sponge provided on desired area of body and blend with the same sponge. The small holes dispense the right amount every time I shake the jar. The sponge is of great quality and I love it; it is so soft and makes you feel pampered.

The powder blends perfectly and effortlessly and doesn’t show up on skin. No one can detect on shoulders that you have applied any cosmetic yet it helps in achieving a better look and the skin looks and stays fresh for hours. It is efficient in absorbing a bit of sweat.

powder case

Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders powder is mildly fragrant with lilies, gardenia, lilac and amber notes; so overall it falls in floral category. I am a floral fragrance person but the scent is too mild for me. I didn’t expect it to be overwhelming but should have been stronger than this. It lasts for 4-5 hours maximum and can be reapplied if required.

Pros of Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders Bath Powder:

• A mild floral scented bath powder.
• Keeps skin glowing and fresh.
• Luxurious feel when applied.
• Functional packaging and sponge.
• Soft, fine and velvety texture.
• Easy to use and blends well without showing up on skin as foreign object.
• No product wastage.
• Great quality of product.
• No whitish cast/residue on skin.
• Fairly priced for the brand (Elizabeth Arden)

Cons of Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders Bath Powder:

• Not a must have product in vanity. Specially for this price tag, you can get two local bath powder jars :D.
• I wish the fragrance was stronger.
• Not easily available.

IMBB Rating: 3.5/5 (the product is excellent in quality but I am deducting points because it isn’t a must have in vanity)

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Elizabeth Arden White Shoulders Bath Powder?
I will recommend it to those who use a bath powder regularly or feel to stock up on such pampering stuff. For me, it is not a repurchase product because I hardly get time to use such things. Also, I can spend the money on something else rather than collecting rarely used products. I have already gifted this to my mom for she is a fan of bath powders.
