Greetings to all IMBBians,
For quite some time, I have been eyeing the Aveeno Moisture Body Wash to add to my shower caddy, but found it a bit on the pricier side for a body wash, so I bought the next best option – Equate Everyday Moisture Body Wash (which is the same as the former except the brand name). This particular one is my to-go body wash, read on to find why:
Feel extra fresh and clean every time you step out of the shower with the Equate Everyday Moisture Body Wash. This product promises gentle cleaning and moisturizing to achieve naturally healthy-looking skin. This 18 fl oz bottle of Equate body wash contains emollients and soothing colloidal oatmeal ingredients that help maintain your skin’s natural balance while gently cleansing it and keeping it soft. This product is dermatologist tested.
My Take on Equate Everyday Moisture Body Wash:
I have used regular body washes like the one by Dove or VOS, and I have used more luxurious one by Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, and so on, but I don’t have a personal favorite and I keep changing brands and flavors in this regard. However, I did like the product reviewed in this post and am contemplating purchasing another bottle once I run out of this one.
Packaging: This product comes in a big 18 fl oz bottle with a flip cap on top to cover the opening which dispense product when the bottle is tilted or squeezed. It is a bit long yet slim bottle hence is easy to store in my shower caddy.
Consistency: Since it is a moisturizing body wash, it has a thick lotion-like consistency and small quantity is enough for one shower session if used with a good loofah.
Fragrance: A smell is subtle and reminds me of the usual body and face moisturizers we use. I was a bit skeptical of this particular feature before I sampled the product, but after my first usage, I was satisfied by it.
Efficacy: A small dollop on a wet loofah is enough for one shower session. I rub my loofah all over body and massage for a good few minutes with extra concentration on areas that I shave since they need extra exfoliation. When not in a rush, I use a body brush to remove ingrown hair and also to get rid of cellulite in upper thigh region. It gives a generous amount of lather, to the point that if at times I don’t have time to use a shave cream or body oil to shave, I just use this body wash to shave off my legs and when used under hot shower, it makes entire process smooth and easy.
It is a good and cheap body wash which would do well in our shower routine and best of all, it is a close dupe of a slightly more expensive body wash and is a perfect for thrifty buyers like me.

Would I Repurchase Equate Everyday Moisture Body Wash?
Usually I don’t repeat my body washes flavors, but I might make an exception in this case because my skin seems to like this body wash as it gives a soft texture to my skin after I rinse and it is affordable compared to its more expensive counterpart.
