Estee lauder recently came up with a new line of lipsticks called “Pure Color Love” and I picked up three shades from the range – Raw Sugar, Shock and Awe, and Rebel Glam. I would be reviewing “Rebel Glam” in this post today.
There are no rules in Love. Color. Create. Customize. Fun, daring lip color with good-for-you ingredients that help smooth lips and renew moisture. In four fashion-forward finishes:
Cremes, Chromes and Shimmers have a deliciously balmy texture. Mattes are bold, vibrant, rich and long-lasting, feel weightless. Keep that “just applied” look for hours. Mix, remix, create your look. There’s so many ways to love.
My Experience with Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick Rebel Glam:
The “Pure Color Love” lipstick range by Estee Lauder comes housed in a transparent case with Estee Luader engraved on the top. The shade name is printed on the cap itself. The cap has a colour at the top that matches the lipstick itself. This makes it very easy to find out the shade from my makeup stash.
I have never really tried Estee Lauder lipsticks, but I wanted to try this range. “Rebel Glam is a unique bright purple-pink shade with cool undertones which will look flattering on fair to medium skin tones. This lipstick has a very unique bullet shape which is supposed to give precision, but honestly for me, it was tough to apply with this bullet without going out of the lines.
There are four finishes to choose from and I picked up all matte shades. The matte formula of this lipstick is between MAC’s retro matte and matte formula. It offers straight matte finish but still feels very comfortable on the lips.
“Rebel Glam” feels comfortable throughout the day. It also feels very lightweight on the lips. It doesn’t dry out my lips or settle into the fine lines of my lips. It’s not transferproof and will definitely fade away if you eat or drink. It has a very mild vanilla scent which wont bother anyone with sensitive nose. I get 6 hours of wear time from Rebel Glam and it also leaves a pretty stain behind.
There were several people complaining about feathering from these, but I didn’t notice any feathering on my lips. “Color Love” range offers full pigmentation but you need two layers for opaque coverage. Being a matte formula, I do feel it clings on to the dry patches of my lips. It goes on smoothly and does not tug or pull on the lips.
