Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star Review

Hi IMBBians,

This post is the review of one of the two Etude House eye shadow sticks I bought as part of my Korean makeup and skincare haul. I like these sticks; however, they are a little less dramatic for my taste and don’t show that well on my face. Nevertheless, I do like them and wear them whenever I am in the mood for some extra bling.

Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star Review

Product Description:
What it is
Smooth and creamy eye shadow stick that provides vibrant eye color with easy application.

How to Apply:
Twist stick to the right and gently apply to the eye area. Smudge with finger for desired effect.

Price:
$5.20

My Experience with Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star:

The product comes in a twist up packaging which is common for cream eye shadows in cream form. It has a tube that holds the product and a cap to protect it. The twist up mechanism seems sturdy and has not given up on me yet – I have been using it for over a month now. The quantity if the product is appropriate for the price paid and the product last a good few months after regular use.

The color of the shade “Sunset Star” is a warm toned copper shade with very fine, homogeneous glitter in it. This color has a summery appeal to it and has warm under tones hence it compliments my skin color well. This eye shadow is highly pigmented, it is easy to pick up with a flat eye shadow brush or bare fingers and pack on the lids. It sets fast so it must be blended quickly into the eye socket. It can be used all over the lids or in the inner corner or on the brow bone – as desired. It can be used below the water line as well to add an extra tinge of color to face. It can be combined with other shades to give a more well-done appearance to the whole makeup look.

Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star Cap

The color is opaque and applies very smooth. It is not super easy to glide and applies on upper lids with minimal tugging. However, as pigmented and opaque it appears in the swatches the same is not apparent when applied on the lids. This product comes in 11 shade variants.

The staying power is not that good and the bling stays on as long as we don’t tear often or sweat excessively. The glitter in the shadow is homogeneously blended into the color and sits well on lids but only for short duration on non-oily lids. These eyeshadow sticks by Etude House are reasonably priced, have a sturdy packaging and are highly pigmented.

Cons of Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star:

  • Staying power is low.

Do I Recommend Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick 12 Sunset Star?
I recommend this product to those who love to dabble with Etude House makeup and especially the kind with bling in it. It is affordable and comfortable to wear. The only con is the poor staying power.
