The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask Review

Skin Type: Combination

Hi guys,

Today, I will be reviewing yet another sheet mask from The Face Shop. This mask is from the Bio Cell range, which is the expensive but effective range of sheet masks from The Face Shop. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, keep on reading.

The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask Review

This moisturizing mask features a naturally adhesive bio-cellulose sheet and a hydrating serum containing multi-sized Hyaluronic Acid particles. Dermatologist tested. Formulated without added parabens.
Price:
300 INR for 25 gm.

Ingredients:
The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask ingredients

This mask is soaked in hyaluronic acid, which is an excellent, skin-friendly ingredient that provides abundant moisture to the skin. This ingredient is also found in many hydrating toners and serums.

My Experience with The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask:

The sheet mask comes in a white pack with blue-coloured bubbles all over it. Just like all the sheet masks from the Bio Cell range, this one has a science-y feel to it. It is slightly bigger in size than “Real Nature” masks. The back of the pack has all the information such as ingredients, directions for use, price as well as illustrations. The mask itself is blue in colour and has two protective sheets on either side. Handling this mask may be difficult as it is quite delicate and it may fold on itself. The sheet mask itself is very jelly like and can tear if not used carefully. It has a very mild scent which goes away after a few minutes of applying the mask to the skin.

The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask details at the back

I bought this sheet mask and other variants from the same range as the weather in Delhi has been erratic. Moreover, with a busy schedule, I hardly find time to provide extra care to my skin. Hence, I turned to these sheet masks.

I used this mask in the night when the weather was very drying and hot. I placed this mask in the refrigerator to cool before use. This mask delivered abundant moisture into my skin and made my face look plump and hydrated in the morning. The effects of the mask lasted around two days, after which I resumed my full skincare regimen. These masks and this one in particular are great pick me ups for the skin.

The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask

This would be an amazing mask for dry and dehydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient already present in our skin, so this mask is less likely to irritate and cause breakouts.

Overall, I was happy with this sheet mask, although I do believe the effects are similar to The Solution mask, which is half the price.

Pros of The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask:

  • Moisturizing and nourishing.
  • Contains skin-friendly ingredient hyaluronic acid.
  • Mask is sandwiched between two protective sheets.
  • Mask fits easily and adheres well.
  • Mask is drenched in serum.
  • Provides intense hydration and plumps the skin.
  • Removes tiredness from the face.

Cons of The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask:

  • Expensive.

IMBB Rating:
4/5
Would I Repurchase/Recommend The Face Shop Bio Cell Moisturizing Face Mask?
Again, as with other sheet masks from this range, I feel they are quite similar to The Solution mask range, with a few differences such as type of material used. I wish The Face Shop comes up with more masks that address skin issues other than the ones they already have.
